In your writing, when should you narrate vs. dramatize? What's the difference? Why does it matter?
I'm talking about these two modes of storytelling, both of which are important, but if you've got too much of one and not enough of another, it may represent an issue in your writing. Or, simply understanding when to use one over another will help you to level up your writing.
To clarify, narrate vs. dramatize isn't the same as tell vs. show, but I think of them as cousins! Narration has a lot in common with telling, and dramatization has a lot in common with showing--and they each have their place!
