Thank you for letting me relive my youth just a little. I’m an INTP and am curious about everything. So many things I did; so many projects, so much fun. By vocation I was an electrical and computing engineer. I’m 82 now and things don’t come as quick as they use to. I still make cellular and wifi antennas. Keep the videos coming!!! Cheers.
Another great flight watch how low you run that Lipo and put your receiver to the side away from power wires and have a 90 degree seperation of your antennas you will get alot more range take care
Your helical antenna gives good results for 250 mw vtx. You need to increase your radio range now Look for Elrs system, you could use it on your flysky i6 Fly safe 😉
Was thinking of making the switch to elrs, but my budget is in the way as of now. I ln the meantime I will try flashing my radio with opentx. I might try waypoint missions to test the full range of the video system. Thanks for watching!
@@theorangebaron1595 you could try to build Moxon antenna 2.4 ghz for your remote control in the first time ( it s more directionnel antenna but it helps to increase the range). Way point for know your video limit yes good idea !
No I have not, the wobble is noticeable on the speed passes, and I hope to configure auto tune on one of my switches, but I have a limited amount of free switches, so I might try swapping the vra potentiometers with 5 position switches.
I built once a FPV kit for a RC car.... a "cheap" chinese 433MHz 2000mW set. Before i tried that, i tried a 5GHz 800mW and the signal was poor at the slightest obstacle so i tried 433MHz and well its AWESOME (illegal, but awesome^^)
