Welcome to our latest episode in our ADVENTURES in our TINY FLOATING HOME.
Come and cruise with us today as we travel on our LIVE ABOARD NARROWBOAT through yet another tunnel and travel down the historic Foxton Locks before we EXPLORE Market Harborough. Jackie manages yet another ice cream, maybe this will be the last one before the cold weather sets in?? Watch as she makes her famous healthy but very very fruity scones and we cruise towards the location where we will be coming out of the water to start our blacking process. We continue to enjoy our OFF GRID LIVING to the full as we explore the Leicestershire countryside.

Hi Pat, oh I love wearing a hat, I don't do it often enough. They really complete an outfit. Sadly I can't always wear one when we are cruising because I'd loose it in the wind lol x

My dog, Puffs, and I sometimes do the "stomp"on our walks. I start a breathing rhythm, and she knows what to do, so, she's trotting, and I'm stomping, in rapid order. You inspired me, and I'm more fit for it! Now, your videos is the best for smile making, because I love the back and forth of you, two. .And, you talk to us, and take us with you, so that's so much fun.

Lovely vlog again, you were in my neck of the wood. An old squash partner lives in the marina where you were and also last year we stopped there for diesel and yes a nightmare to get in & out. Further to the ice cream we had a friend who told the kids that when the van came ringing the bell or playing a tune it meant he'd had sold out so no ice cream left !!! And the scones looked great....them & fruit cake......can't beat em... regards Mike.

Sooo funny I had a friend who used to tell his kids that they only had so many words to use in a day and he was counting so when he’d had enough of them each day he used to say ‘your almost there now’ and they would shut up then ! ❤️👍

Yes, the Atlantic! I've looked into the Erie canal, but it doesn't seem as scenic as the British canal system. That is the effect you have had! Now, I'm working on my dear old man! We are older 64/68, but I feel like we are healthy and active enough to give it a go. So a visit to your side of the Atlantic may be the answer! We can rent a boat, secure help and knowledge, and follow your lead on LIVING the retirement years. Barb Don't heated to say "that's nuts" if those are your thoughts!

Just a thought when baking or cooking you shouldnt touch your hair. I am sure it is clean but for food prep even just for the 2 of you sjould not touch your hair when cooking. Just a thought I know you were very busy and focussed so you probably didnt think of this. Luv your vids more and more as I go thru your library. Oh and I still havent found out why the boat is named what it is? What is the back story? Thanks keep smiling! (and eating ice cream haha) Fun!

The boat was named by its previous owners who had it built. There were from Lancaster, not sure why it was called Border Reiver. But we also understand BR was a 1960's motor racing team as well. Interesting eh.

Hi Thanks for your comment I use basic tinned sardines. I put about 1/3 of a tin of sardines in an empty sardine tin and then slide it into the bait pouch. Hope that helps. Please let me know how you get on. 👍👍
