Just found this and it explains why even though New Caledonia is supposedly “my shade,” I found Manaus fit me better every time I’ve swatched it and I didn’t have to make it work. Thank you.

I love the texture and the look of the foundation but the cool undertone is giving a grey look. It looked a little better 5 hours later but it still had a slight grey. You could let it pass because it’s not that bad but it’s there. Maybe do a flash test one day just to be sure.
Love it! I have not tried Nars foundation but may have to add to my list. I am currently in need of one as well as a concealer. I have been using the Giorgio Armani or Two Faced duos which I still love but would love to see how Nars work for me.
Looks great on you! I'm the same exact color too. New Caledonia in the summer and Manaus in the winter as I lighten up! I use truffle as my color corrector. lol. Great video as always! xoxoxo
I went to the store yesterday and bought one! My 1st Nars foundation and definitely geeked to wear! Edit!! LOVEZZZZZZ!!!😍😍😍😍 Like legit got the IT GIRL flawless skin finish!!! If I was getting married, this would be my foundation of choice!! And thanks for the concealer tip of Amande, looks great!☺️

I love the Nars concealer especially in the shade amande. The only foundation I love from nars is the velvet Matt one. I may have to try this one out as well. Thanks for sharing

It actually looks better 5 hrs later than when you first put it on... Like you said almost airbrushed. Very soft..looks really good... God bless you with white and doing makeup ... The spill seems to find me..
I wear New Caledonia in the other foundations too so this was helpful. The shade looks good initially. I don’t know if it’s the lighting or powder/concealer, but it looked different after your makeup was done. I’ll try Manaus when this foundation eventually releases here in the U.K. Thanks for sharing!

Hi I’m combination as well and NARS hands down is my top 3 favorite. I’m deep neutral undertone and I purchased the Manaus. It’s a perfect winter shade match. In the summer I wore New Caledonia D2.
