I tried the new NARS light reflecting foundation (bit.ly/3gprtJd) over three days using different application methods and here are my thoughts. Hope it's helpful if you're considering giving the foundation a go! :)

I’m so glad I found your video! It looks really good on you 🥹 As a fair-skinned asian with cool olive undertone, and even dry skin, I was hesitating if this foundation, and even the shade Gobi would match me or not. When you mentioned that it has greenish tone in it, PROBLEM SOLVED! 😭 I’ve got no Nars counters for me to check my shade, so your video really helps! Loved how you also mentioned how it works with different types of skincare products, they were really useful. Thank you! 💸

Hii ma'am!! Right now I'm using a foundation Maybelline super stay shade 120 classic ivory, which goes with fair to medium, So I'm contemplating to buy a nars foundation in shade Fiji. Is Fiji will go right shade on me? Kindly clarify my doubts please.

Such a great video, thank you so much for the thorough review, and including all your struggles for it. Can I please ask what the lip colour in that 2nd day 2 update is? The matte, blotted, lip smoothing, reddened lip-stain looking product? It's beautiful and looks incredible on you! If I may just offer a little bit of feedback? Would you please be able to slow down and turn fully when are showing us the close-up texture and just make those sections a few seconds longer please? Even pausing, there was some parts I couldn't quite catch. I have quite a bit of acne-scarring hyperpigmentation and texture and it's honestly so helpful for me to have a proper good look and determine if a new product is looking like it's sitting on texture or covering any better than what I have at home already! Your swatches are so incredibly helpful! Not only might this be my shade and it was wonderful to get to see that green undertone I need as an olive shine through on the swatch, but all your swatches are fantastic - I've only just recently found you through the new Rare Beauty blush shades video, and it was the most helpful one I found to help me pick a shade (I went with Believe and really appreciate you pointing out those 2 looked basically the same on the cheeks, and just got the one more unique to my collection rather than both). I've subscribed and been checking out a bunch of past videos - you're putting out beyond helpful content, that is also really enjoyable and engaging

Hi Diana! Thanks so much for your kind words and feedback, it means a lot! So glad you enjoyed the rare beauty blush videos 🥰 Such a good point about taking my time with the closeups so you can really see the acne scars/pigmentation on my cheeks - can definitely do that in future videos!! The foundation didn’t cover my pigmentation 100%, but it smoothed over my slightly indented scarring well and lessened the shadowy look they can get! I’m pretty sure on day 2 I was wearing the rom&nd glasting water tint in ‘rose splash’ that morning. At the time of filming it had faded down, and I had just wiped my lips to remove foundation that got on them. So a mix of the tint and my natural lip colour showing through 😅 I reapplied it when I did my makeup again that day, and that’s the full colour you see in the following clip! Let me know if there are any specific videos you’d like to see in the future! Always open to suggestions ☺️

@@niceskindays Thank you for the lovely response back, and so glad my comment helped! :) Thank you for understanding where I came from with the feedback - I know it must feel awkward to be asked to show off my texture, and I did worry it could come across a bit weirdly - we all know we have texture and scarring but it still feels like it could be rude to talk about other people's even when our skin is similar - which it is, totally get what you mean by shadowy! Really interested in this foundation - not widely available in the UK yet, but it's on my wishlist (hoping I may be able to get a sample somewhere, fingers crossed, as we can't return items here, so buying foundation is always nerve-wracking). Your video was so helpful and helped cement my interest in it! :) Oh my god, I would NEVER have guessed that was a glasting tint!! What sorcery is this??!! It looks like a beautiful, not long ago applied, thin velvet matte stain! I wish mine lasted and looked like that on me, but my lips suck every bit of product for nourishment and hydration. Stains can't even stain haha. I have Vintage Ocean, Rose Stream and the 2 Hanbok ones. I basically use them as a gloss/liquid balm really! Thank you for letting me know! It truly looks gorgeous on you

Thank you!! And yay so happy to hear you’re into the glasting tints too, I just recently picked mine up and I plan on trying some of the warmer shades! Ahh hearing your suggestions is super encouraging, I’ve been loving monochrome looks lately so definitely plan on doing some pink-toned, bronzey and mauvey tutorials in the future :) and I’m obsessed with blush so lots of ideas there with diff placements like you said! I try to be intentional with my makeup/skincare purchases so I love what you said about using the products I already own. Honestly thank you so much for taking the time to write this all out - really glad you’re here! :)

It's from a set I got on amazon! I believe the brand is Beakey and they have a few sets out there. I sometimes have the same issue with sponges and very liquidy foundations - I find dampening it and squeezing out the excess water with a towel beforehand makes it easier to use :)

How do you prevent the mask from creating a line through your blush??

I try to rest the top of the mask reallyy high up (like right below my eyes, above my cheekbones) and if I'm using a blue medical mask I fan it out all the way so the creases don't rub on my cheeks as much! But if I'm talking and smiling a lot under the mask it'll transfer no matter what hahah. Setting spray kinda helps if it's gonna be a long day!!

Does it smell like enamel? An online seller told me the Japanese lilyturf makes it smell of enamel paint a slightly foul odor is it true or have I got a fake one? How do u know ur shade by the way
