I went into Sephora to get a shade match since I was out of the Clinique CC cream…the girl that helped me suggested the Nars foundation and I purchased it! At 69, I usually stick to a more minimal look but I love this and have had compliments on how my skin looks which is kinda unusual for someone of my age….
After I read your review...I decided to give this a go. I have used the Clinique CC and just want to try something new...but not the CT for various reasons. If I may ask, what shade did you end up with? Beautiful hair by the way!
@@carola3046 I got Patagonia and I think it’s a good match…if you have a Sephora near you? They can match and keep your color on your profile. It doesn’t sink into lines either!

I read that the founder created this foundation to be applied with the fingers ..the warmth of the hands activates the foundation and sinks it into the skin…I definitely see a difference doing it this way! Much better! Then I just Pat back over w a brush or sponge
I’m so glad you love it too! This is definitely holy grail status for me after one use. It applied like a dream with a beauty blender, looks like a second skin, feels like nothing is on my face, covers my redness perfectly yet I can still see my skin, lasts all day with a touch of powder after lunch on my nose, AND held up under the mask! When I washed my face my skin looked happier and felt very soft. I will always have a bottle of this gem on hand!
Your new hair length is so sophisticated and modern! I wish women w long hair realized that the most appealing length for most women who wish to have long hair is at the collarbone (clavicle). It’s long enough to pull up but not too long to drag the face down. Bravo!

Thank you so much for saying that you wear more natural/glowing foundation in the winter and more matte foundation in the summer. I can't tell you how much I hear the opposite. It doesn't make sense to me that people would wear a glowing foundation for summer especially if they want longevity. In the fall/winter months I wear a more natural glowing foundation and in the spring/summer I wear a more matte foundation because my skin dries out when it's colder and produces more oil when it is warmer!!! I have ordered a sample of this foundation through Ulta and am looking forward to trying it!!!
Oh my gosh. I watched your video twice this morning because I have been desperately looking for a better foundation that actually matches my skin tone. When I saw NARS light reflecting came in Oslo, I decided to make a run to Ulta. It’s so rare to find really pale colors in stock but the website said they had it at my store. It is perfection.Thank you so much. I bought a new IT foundation brush just for applying it. I wanted one of yours but I couldn’t wait. My skin looks amazing and best of all, I am neither to yellow or too dark. My neck matches my face. Hallelujah! Thank you so much.

Even without foundation, your skin looks incredible. I truly think I like the Nars Foundation on you more so than the Charlotte Tilbury. It has a more natural look. The color is spot on. I am really glad you compared this foundation to the new CT foundation. The wear from the CT foundation is not all day on me but since I am retired that is no big deal. I was very impressed with the NARS review so I did order the foundation. I have other NARS foundations and I do like them. I really love the thought of mixing foundations to get the best of both worlds. Thanks 😊

Thank you for spotlighting this foundation - because of this episode I purchased it and LOVE IT!! I’m 52 and struggle finding a balance between cc creams and a non-drying foundation. This one is light and gives great coverage without making my face look super shiny or dry. Great wear as well. Love your channel!

I honestly have to thank you Lisa! 😊💜 I had bought the new Charlotte Tilbury foundation, wanted to love it, and had been fighting with it for the last week and a half. It was just way too glowey nearly all day and showed so much texture. 😞 I could only get it to work when mixing it with the NARS soft matte foundation. After I watched your video I returned the Charlotte Tilbury foundation and picked up this NARS radiant and wore it today for the first time with my normal things and it is near perfection- so thank you so much! I even wear the same color as you. I am 63 with what I believe to be normal skin and live in the “normal” climate of SoCal. I doubt I would’ve tried this foundation if it hadn’t been for your review.
Are still using and enjoying the NARS light reflecting foundation? Finally ordered a few of your brushes - have been wanting to try them for so long - just have sooo many brushes - but I just couldn’t help myself ordered 3 and can’t wait to get and try them out!
Looks beautiful on you. I'm also LOVING this foundation on my combo/mature skin. This looks absolutely gorgeous on my skin and stays looking fresh and polished all day. I have somewhat dehydrated uber-sensitive skin and use tretinoin so a foundation that can work on me, look natural, 'my skin yet better" and not irritate my skin is a huge deal. This is my new HG foundation. I do not set it and use an all mineral matte (Super Goop) sunscreen. Perfection! (The new Charlotte T. was way too thick on my skin and caused a few breakouts). Beautiful finished look. I liked the Nars foundation much more than the CT one. I don't think I chose the right shade online, though, so that influenced how I felt. I need to try another shade to give the foundation a fair test. I wish I had your flawless complexion. I see no sun damage or dark spots. I must try the Kaja lippie. Thanks for your review, Lisa.
I always thought Nars was not cruelty free. I was about to bypass this video but when you mentioned it’s vegan I looked online and Nars is cruelty free. So happy as I do like the look of a lot of their products. I will be getting this foundation. Thank you

I had no intention of picking it up because I picked up the Charlotte Tilbury beautiful skin and the Chanel No.1 BUT I just had to pick it up. I too am in the shade Patagonia. It’s GORGEOUS! Hey, Lisa..! You have become lighter skin toned because I used to match with you, but lately, I've bad to pick up one or two shades darker than you in a few fndtns you have recently reviewed... My shade is Punjab.
I found that the some sunscreens and primers don't work well with this foundation. I almost returned it, but Dr jart sunscreen and Maybelline baby skin instant pore eraser primer along with using a beauty blender did the trick and I love it!
I think it’s so funny that you were about to tell us about a great foundation and I thought you already had it on because your skin is so beautiful and then you say I have nothing on my face I just was like oh my gosh
Nars foundation is better than CT .. esp if you have combo oily skin with rosacea. I highly recommend it. It doesn't look shiny and does not need touch up.
for me, i loveee this foundation on first application and for a few hours after, but it is not for someone with excessively dry or oily skin. i have combination skin and it definitely accentuates flakey spots for me. and is very oily by the end of the day, but i still love it
Lisa I am so excited to try this foundation after your review. Unfortunately, my color is sold out on Sephora, NARS, and Ulta Beauty. I was able to order it through Kohl’s website, and they still have a lot of the lighter shades for anyone who doesn’t want to wait for a restock. 💕
I had no intention of picking up any foundation as I have been more into tinted sunscreens. I was definitely not interested in the CT new foundation. I love Nars foundations. I have bought Sheer Glow several times over the years. The reviews for the new Nars foundation have been stellar and it definitely was more my vibe than the new CT foundation. After watching LisaLisaD1’s review (GRWM) I knew I needed it. I think the new Nars foundation has a certain radiance that is not makeuppy looking… It looks fab on you!
I’ve worn it twice so far ..my color is Yukon.. a tad bit light but with bronzer it will work. I really do like it … used the larger BK beauty foundation brush and 3 pumps which may have been a little too much but will try 2 pumps next time and the BK beauty 106 foundation brush. I do want to play around with the primers to see what works best I tend to be a bit dry… I’m in North Texas. Thank you Ms Lisa for your review! God bless ✝️❤️
Great video Lisa, as always! I picked up the Nars and I love it!! Such a beautiful foundation, I wear Punjab and it's a perfect shade match for me. I'm 60 so I'm very fussy about what I buy for foundations I never wanna look "made up" or have my foundation settle in my smile lines or anywhere it shouldn't be lol! Nars did an amazing job on this!

Yay was so excited to wake up to your video! I was hoping you'd review this foundation. I didn't like the Charlotte Tilbury. Took it back. Got Lancomes consealer. Taking that bsck. I take care of my skin and moisturize, sunscreen and wait to apply foundation but I'm having a hard time finding things that work. I'm 59. Have pretty normal skin. Tend to get shiny in the Tzone. Mac Studio Radiance is still the only one that doesn't cake up and lasts. Thanks for the great review!

This is nice too hear. I have the Dior Forever but I find that it does not seat well on my skin even if well moisturized. I will surely buy the Nars foundation and get the best of both worlds 😀. You're gorgeous as always and your bare skin looks gorgeous as well. 😉

It really does look gorgeous 😍 I'm thinking about picking this up but after buying the Chanel no.1 foundation ( which I love, love love), do I need another foundation?
