Love how the NARS PR package only send full sizes of the shades they think will match you the best! Super smart because that way you aren’t stuck with a ton of shades you won’t match, but the mini samples in other shades are also super helpful for seeing the shade range and if you need to lighten/darken your foundation a little by mixing. Overall super impressed that they put so much thought into their PR stuff, but I’m really disappointed that they decided to draw back from being cruelty free 😞 (I know this was a while ago but I’m trying to go cruelty free and now I can’t try any of their products)

My daughter went to formal last weekend and I bought this foundation for her because she doesn't want it to be heavy or cakey she wants a natural finish type she used it and she loved it she said it were throughout the whole entire day pictures and dancing and everything so she really enjoyed this new foundation

We seem to always like the same ones even though we have different skin types lol As for your question about the olympics, I like watching anything aerial (skiing, snowboarding) or fast (luge, bobsledding) and of course hockey because what kind of Canadian would I be if I didn't watch that, eh?!

This foundation looked SO GOOD on your skin. As a fellow oily skinned person, "radiant" really is a scary word for us haha but it was pretty. I totally think you should get a sample of the Nars Sheer Glow and review it for us. That's been a cult favorite for so long and would be great to test it out for us in your Oily Skin Diaries 💜👍

Samantha, thanks for this video, it looked good on you. Makes me want to try again after sorta giving up the first time. Guess I'm too used to the finish of Sheer Glow. Funny, I wear Syracuse in Sheer Glow, as you did in your other video, but found this Radiant formula looked almost ashy on me. I shook it very well too. More samples again I guess. Other people: What's with the unsolicited...opinions/advice regarding acne? Just because someone has acne doesn't mean they need to drink more water or put apple cider vinegar on their face. Ya'll ain't dermatologists, so pipe down. Also, this is a makeup video, not skincare.

I picked this up at ulta, I was a little disappointed that the lightest shade looked really pink in undertone. I picked it up anyway since mont blanc was still too orangey on me, and applied it didn't look so bad. might experiment with mixing it, but so far just from briefly trying it the finish looks very skin like and beautiful. glad to see you're enjoying it as well, the coverage is great for something that feels really lightweight on the skin.

Rachel O I bought it. I thought I liked it. I returned it today and got mufe and the kvd. It broke me out a little, looked bad on my pores and it oxidized on me about 2 shades. It was perfect the first hour and then bam. I'm still looking for a holy grail medium buildable. They didn't have the new Cover fx in yet. I'll try that next.

I hope you don't mind me asking, are you on medication for your acne because I remember your skin was clear not too long ago. I have hormonal acne (I have pcos) and it looks very similar to yours. I hope I don't come off as mean, im genuinely curious. I admire your confidence. this was extra relatable because the acne really affects the look of makeup on my skin and I get so frustrated and redo my makeup or go out with none at all.

Hi. I have pcos, too. Evening primrose oil capsutes (1300 mg twice a day) improved my complexiin incredibly. Niw i have like three pimples a month, after having maybe 20 at tge same time. Also, avoid testosterone boosters like aloe vera, iodine, zinc, b complex, ginseng and eggs. Good luck.

Hey Samantha, cystic acne is usually caused by hormonal imbalances or food allergies. I dont know if youve ever visited and endocrinologist and an allergist to get tested...

Well done! We have the same color range in foundations. I used to have cystic acne as well. Years ago, I was on Roaccutane off and on but in 2015 (I had a stress breakout) it didn't work. I had to reduce my dairy (switched to almond milk, etc) and went to a dermatologist who prescribed a week-long antibiotic and Retin-A (0.01%) along with a benzoyl peroxide/clindamycin combo and a daily salicylic face wash with a matching salicylic & glycolic toner.

I recommend you use witch-hazel toner after cleaning your face and use dr.jart serum and moisturizer .. you will notice you get less breakouts and the ones you have will diminish..

This is an Awesome color match for you, we're similar skin tones with a very yellow undertone so i'm hoping it'll look as good on me as it does on you! I have oiliest skin too and have just been stuck using the Loreal Infallible for yearss. Desperately looking for a new one that I'll love. I had high hopes for Fenty but I just couldn't find the right undertone for me, they're all so pink or red. Fingers crossed that this'll be a winner!

For your face you should try washing it with Benzoyl. I have pcos which causes hormonal acne and dark patches I kid you not I'm almost done with my first bottle and have not had one single break out in the past 6 months and skin is almost clear of all my acnescars to the point that I don't need base. I think you can get it by prescription or at Bed Bath and Beyond

Since you wear the Maybelline matte fit me i think you would fit the shade 332 really well. The number is higher than 330 lol but it is a bit lighter & more yellow/olive toned

I think I like the color Valencia better. When you do one side it looks darker than your skin tone, and Syracuse does that to me too. I dont spend much time in the sun so Valencia matches my face and chest pretty good.

Honestly I’m still interest only in trying sheer glow. Somehow the reviews are just better on that one. Also as a side note regarding your breakouts have you tried avoiding products with cornstarch? That a culprit for me and others. Just a thought. For example Laura mercier powder has that ingredient.

OPINION NEEDED: I've really been enjoying mixing this foundation with the all day weightless luminous! It helps me because I'm between shades and YELLOW/GREEN AS HECK. (Stromboli in ADWL and Gobi in this new one) but it's really transfer-y and I'm wondering if anyone has a setting powder recommend that doesn't look cakey on texture?

The foundation looked beautiful on you. This would be a foundation I would try but it’s not cruelty free 😭 I have the same kind of cystic acne (but mine is worse).

It depends what you’re looking for in terms of coverage, price, availability etc but I really like this one an have lots of videos on my faves!

Someone help 😫 I’ve tried this shade in one shade and I felt like I looked so pale, so when I saw I was getting flashback I thought that maybe it was actually too light for me. I went to a darker shade (slightly darker but still darker to where I don’t even think it’s my shade) yet I still get flashback! And this is all before I powder or put anything on top :( how do I get it but no one else

Everyone is very different! It could be Skincare, your skin tone, body chemistry etc - maybe try mixing shades or getting samples of more shades

Thanks! I went and got a sample of this at Sephora today! 🙌🏼 I made need another shade but my first day wearing was so nice! It creates a smooth look and good for textured skin, which I have! Thanks for the review!
