I had forgotten how the 1st half of Naruto kicked a ton of ass at times. All of these highlighted fights were extremely well choreographed and with very nice animation.

Mike The Anime Runner I agree. Through Pain it was great. The end of the kage summit is when it became Ass. All the characters went stupid for the mass murderer sasuke.

Nice job Blue! Love it! Can't wait to see some of these guys do an episode before the series is over. Besides just Yamashita and Kouda. Got to get Sessha, Suzuki and Wakabayashi in there too, along with Tsuru and Matsumoto to name a few others.

Most likely Masaru Hyodo will probably be in Yamashita's upcoming episode since he was in both #322/#345. Although his cuts in Shippuden hasn't been action oriental due to the fact there are lot more talent animators that can do action now. Chiyuki Tanaka look to return when Baby Steps is finish. As for the others...well... you already know the deal with them.... And thanx

Yea sooner or later they'll be back. I still think we'll see a Suzuki or Wakabayashi before the series is over. I know that Kakashi/Obito fight is going to be way better than the manga, Yamashita should do a great job with it.

***** That is almost guarantee that Wakabayashi/Tsuru will do one more episode before the series, looking at how Studio Pierrot does things. As for the Kakashi/Obito fight, it will probably be little version of Wakabayashi's Naruto vs. Sasuke episode if the episode only covers #636/#637. BTW next up in the rotation after Yamashita's episode is an Mouse episode, an Mizuno episode, an Piggy or another inhouse episode and Nigorikawa episode which episode #379 according to Date.

Amazing as always Blue. I've come to love Tetsuya Takeuchi's work over the past year after seeing what he worked on. This MAD only makes it better. I'm curious, how do you find out who's the key animator for specific scenes? As in are you going off of art style or seeing it somewhere else that is listed for the Anime? Sorry if a dumb question.

By various methods, like looking for certain characteristic of an animator, like Hiroyuki Yamashita's slender fingers that has an recognizable rectangular shape, talking to them, reading staff comments, blogs/watching staff commentaries..etc..etc And sometime, but most their characteristic

Is it just me or are most of the scenes underwhelming (no offense) They were obviously very good, but I guess I just expect more from Naruto other than Wakabayashi, Takeuchi and Matsumoto
