Ever since the Madara attack on the hidden leaf the Uchiha and Senju kept their relationship at arm's length.... Jiraya most likely had that mentality too even though he didn't show it in the series.

Jiraya knows that sharingan can implant or delete memories, so when Sasuke pulled out the sharingan to wipe his memory, Jiraya Smiled, showing that he has confirmed that it was Sasuke, but oh well, it doesn't matter.
as much as urashiki is trash and some of his fights are garbage , this arc is hands down the most interesting and better one of all the arcs by far! I love the way boruto was being so mature and having empathy for his dad ! and idk it was just super interesting to watch like I said

Compaired to alot enemies naruto and sasuke have faced visually looking at what he can do he's extreamly weak and ud think somone like pain, obito, itachi, madara, would just walk all over this dude. So there is no reason given sasuke was peak at this time in his life and from what he allready has beaten in the past this shouldv been a peice of cake even for jiriya. So they made them all weaker to make ura look even slightly better.
