Also W Iruka Sensei. He single-handedly brought about peace by becoming the father figure Naruto desperately needs, he was the first to acknowledge Naruto and stop him from going on a path as Gaara did prior. He was the one who started the chain of touching someone's heart so much so that they change over the course of time. Beautiful soul

@@Brandon-yg9cc Yeah, everyone impacted Naruto's life and Naruto impacted a lot of people, but my main point was Iruka started the impact chain. Before anyone ever acknowledged him, tried to comfort him. He was treated like an outcast as a child, and he would probably have ended up like Gaara with intense turmoil inside, but Iruka changed Naruto. And since then other beautiful souls like Kakashi and Jiraiya started to influence Naruto

It was stated by Kishimoto-sensei that the reason he killed off Jiraiya was so that Naruto could finally understand how Sasuke feels. The bitter pain of losing someone dear to you that you loved. Before that Naruto had no idea what that was really like and couldn’t say that he knew how Sasuke felt at the time. I know some of y’all who didn’t know that before today won’t like that answer but it’s the truth..

@@jojo2767 he growing without anyone that is super closed to him. he don't even have a strong connection with his parent, like a strong mom dad bond. road to ninja proved that, naruto didn't used to live with parents. the closest thing he felt as parent is jiraiya in his side.

Personally, the only one of the few you mentioned that I like more than Naruto is Hunter x Hunter. I think One Piece would have the potential too but the anime pacing is horrendous.

I started watching the show when I was 6 years old, and I have been following it since then. The emotional connection you ever with the characters is different from any other show. Some of the things that happen, like the one on this epi, it’s almost as if a personal mentor or friend had died. I don’t know how to describe it. I love your reactions, keep up the great work!!

Itachi's smile when Naruto told him he considered Sasuke more of a brother than him was because he knew that he was going to die in his fight against Sasuke, and when Naruto told him that, he felt reassured that there would always be someone fighting for his precious little brother, even after he was gone.

flashback of the Itachi vs Sasuke fight Totsuka's sword is the most coveted sword and apparently Orochimaru spent his life looking for this object. Totsuka sword is basically a variant of Kusanagi and only Itachi Uchiha has ever used this sword, in fact Itachi was able to completely remove Orochimaru's cursed seal on Sasuke's body. According to Zetsu, Totsuka's sword together with the Yata Mirror makes Itachi invincible

Shikamaru is one of my top 3 favourite characters and this episode is one of the main reasons. I love the set up of him learning that lesson through the death of Asuma and being the one to teach Naruto that lesson. I wish more characters got that kind of character writing.

This is such a great stretch of episodes. Iruka and Shikamaru both had incredible words of wisdom about growing up. Iruka spoke about Naruto being a great kid, and Shikamaru did about Naruto being as awesome as Jiraiya when he grows up. These episodes came out as i was around that age so they're very close to me
