I'm pretty sure that Kakashi and Konohamaru each took out one path of Pain by the time Naruto started fighting him. Kakashi did indeed die in the fight with Pain... Tsunade also fought for a while, but used up all of her own Chakra and incapacitated herself to heal/save everyone in the village after one of Pain's Shinra Tensei (almighty push). She's currently in a coma.

Kakashi's death and the almighty push sure hit more in the anime because they can give it the appropriate time. This version doesn't really impact or even show it properly, which is why you weren't sure if he'd died or not. His death was an emotional, powerful sacrifice in the show 😑 The game also seems to have completely cut out Konohamaru actually fighting and beating one of the Pains too, which is a shame. "My surname is Sarutobi. My given name is Konohamaru. And you will remember me" - such an iconic moment

They didnt show it, but a number of characters die during Pein's Invasion of Konoha, including but not limited to Chouza Akimichi (Chouji's father), Kakashi and Shizune.

This arc is several episodes from Naruto learning about Jiraya's death to dealing with the depression then mastering Sage jutsu in the most interesting way that only he could (Even Jiraya never mastered it which is why he looks like a toad in Sage Mode while Naruto keeps his human appearance) then Pain's attack on the village all while Naruto prepares to return, so many characters were killed/taken down before the Almighty Push. This is literally where the show peaked in many fans opinions and where Naruto became a seriously powerful ninja, he's now the strongest in the Hidden Leaf.

A scene i love that couldn't make it to the game: Naruto needed one more push to understand how natrual energy works. Another frog tells him "imagine sprinkling mint on a chocolate-vanilla swirl ice cream to make it taste better" 😂 There, have something lighthearted

I hope y'all watch Pain backstory someday after this arc to understand his character more. Sadly the game didn't explain it on why he is doing all these things.

Sadly enough Kakashi was killed along side some other side characters. Theres even a whole story of him meeting his father in his after life state of limbo. He gets closure for his father commiting suicide

I'm guessing from the where this part ended up, the game doesnt show Shizune's death either. Nor will it show Tsunade's sacrifice to save the people of the village - which makes me wonder how the game portrays the danzo storyline after this

@pub1 it doesnt show shizune from what i remember. And it as tsunade goes, she has one scene before naruto and pain where shes exhausted and i think shows her skin go from young to old but thats it. Doesnt show exactly how she ended up like that

@@pub1is doesn't show anything about Tsunade. All you do is start at the village in Storm 3, and Kiba tells us that the 5 Kage are meeting and that Danzo is now the 6th Hokage

@@pub1 tbh Storm 3 is a lot better story presentation wise since it's mostly cutscenes instead of the mix of limited-exploration dialogue and cutscenes in Storm 2. I don't remember much, but the whole Danzo fight is great iirc

Hehehe, Welcome to the Final Chapter of Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, with just the Final Boss Battle left of that particular Game, I wonder how they have Edited it in this Compilation? Still, things will just get more interesting from here. By the way, i hope you do Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 all Bosses by NintenU at some point, perhaps after your done with the Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Section of this Cutscene Compilation?

Yeah, Kakashi died. Pain used Almighty Push to launch a nail through his head. It cut to silhouette, but you saw it happen.

Watching Naruto like this don't really give us the true emotions that the story tries to sell us it's not that intense, the animation the action the betrayals and suspense etc.. a lot of importants and cool things going on that we don't see with the cinematic of the game, I know for a fact that if you watch the actual show you would cry sometimes and it would feel less boring, you would understand a lot more even without watching the fillers and learn some life lessons maybe. Ofc it's just my opinion you do as you please 😊 it would be nice if you could react to some of the episodes though, at least the important ones like backstories or some fights

Ehh Watching this after years make me feel sad and angry. Games don;t show many things and many shows incorect to real story. Terror of Pain to the village was enourmous, Kakashi had much more very depressed scenes, was Konohamaru fight, many parents of main characters scenes, death of shizune even. And then after small talk with Tsunade he flew up and blow all konoha by 1 attack. Pain arc is my the favourite and the highest point of Naruto's anime story.

They don't really explain it much in the games but iruka was one of the first few people to treat naruto as a person when he was little and not a monster, like everyone else in the village.(well except for sasuke and the third hokage and hinata😅
