Welcome, everyone, to this new video exploring the Naruto Kayou TCG. In this video, we are finally ready to complete our exploration of Tier 4 after receiving the two missing waves, 1 and 5. In this video, we begin with wave 1.
It's important to note that Naruto Kayou expansions are divided into waves, and each wave is further divided into multiple Tiers. In this display, we opened 18 boosters, with HR (one per booster) and SLR as exclusive rarities. However, there are no BP (available from wave 2) or SE (numbered, the rarest, available from wave 4) cards in this wave.
Despite the higher price of this out-of-print display, we decided to test it to see if it was really worth paying more to open it or if it was more worthwhile to focus on the latest waves.
However, this opening left us rather disappointed, with only 6 hits out of 18 boosters and the inability to find BP or SE cards (which is clearly a disadvantage compared to the latest waves). Additionally, the average number of hits for Tier 4 in other waves was 9 hits, which is significantly higher than our current result. Ultimately, we would not recommend opening this display given its high price and low hit rate.
In any case, stay with us in the next video to discover the other openings of Tier 4 in wave 5 and to see if it was really worth it!
If you are interested in collectible cards and are looking for alternative licenses (such as Marvel, Scissor Seven, Harry Potter, Saint Seiya, Transformers, Digimon), I highly recommend checking out this TCG Naruto Kayou, as well as other card games produced by Kayou.
It's important to emphasize that all the licenses are official, so these are not "fake" cards, as may be mentioned in many places. These are licensed cards exclusively for the Chinese market, and the easiest and cheapest way to obtain them is through Aliexpress.
About Naruto KAYOU
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The unique aspect of this TCG is that classic expansions, as you might find in Pokémon, One Piece, etc., are referred to as "waves." Unlike the traditional model, the same cards can be found in different waves, but only for lower rarity cards.
Each wave is divided into several Tiers:
- 36 booster displays: Tier 1
- 30 booster displays: Tier 2
- 20 booster displays: Tier 3
- 18 booster displays: Tier 4
As the Tier increases, the price also goes up, but the display contains more rare cards. There is also a somewhat special display, Tier 2.5, which contains 50 boosters.
Regarding card rarity, Naruto Kayou may seem quite complicated at first. There are common rarities for each tier and rarities exclusive to each tier.
The common rarities, in increasing order of rarity, are: R, SR, SSR, UR, OR, AR, SP, and MR. A card with a rarity of UR or higher is considered a "hit."
The exclusive rarities are as follows:
- Tier 1: GP
- Tier 2: ZR, CR
- Tier 2.5: CP
- Tier 3: TR/TGR, NR
- Tier 4: HR, SLR, BP, SE
About KAYOU
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Kayou is a company that owns several licenses and produces numerous card games. They had previously created an old TCG (in the 2010s) called "Dimension Zero," which featured licenses from One Piece, Dragon Ball, Naruto, Marvel, Bleach, Saint Seiya. It was a true TCG with tournaments, etc.
They have also created a "new" TCG called "Hero Battle," featuring licenses like Ultraman or Marvel, for example.
In addition to TCGs, they also produce CCGs: collectible cards with no playing capability. They have a wide range of licenses, including Naruto, Marvel, Scissor Seven, Harry Potter, Conan, the British Museum, Three Kingdoms, Saint Seiya, Transformers, Digimon, My Little Pony.
In the future, we will test most of the Kayou licenses. The goal of this channel is to introduce you to as many different cards as possible so you can find the ones that enchant you enough to collect. We hope you enjoy this video and join us for the continuation of this adventure in the world of collectible card games.
