Naruto Shippuden I Actually Liked Sakura But Then..... 

For me, Sakura crossed the line in the sand much earlier, when she mocked Naruto for being a lonely orphan and ridiculed his(initial) feelings behind his back to Sasuke, of all people(who rightfully called her out on her callous BS). And it was all downhill from there. Also when it comes to understanding and bonding, it's safe to say that Sasuke and Naruto have the strongest brotherly bond due to their shared dark origins, tragic losses and Naruto's drive to redeem Sasuke. Something Sakura was never compelled to understand due to her sheer superficiality(she still doesn't really know Sasuke).

The sad part is that she had everything to be a good character

I think the thing that really hurts her is the fact that she was a primary character. If her role was reduced to that of a secondary character oh, I feel like it wouldn't have been as bothersome. The fact that she is a primary character feels completely and totally unearned.

Sakura only "loves" Sasuke because he's handsome and cool. I bet if Sasuke's face became heavily disfigured or if he lost all his limbs and become just a torso so he couldn't do anymore cool ninja moves, she would finally accept that he doesn't love her and give him up. and maybe she'd finally acknowledge Naruto and try to seduce him away from Hinata, or even make her moves on Sai since he resembles Sasuke. i hate her so much, i hate that she is rewarded with what she wants at the end, and i hate that sasuke does an out-of-character thing and marries this thot.

Contrary to popular belief, the “Sakura is useless” meme has little to do with her abilities. No thinking reader can genuinely believe that Sakura is actually useless. The meme is purely character-based: purportedly, she’s not useless because she’s weak - on the contrary, she’s perceived as useless because she should be much more useful than her character lets her be, and this frustrates the reader into hatedom. Let’s take a look at how her character develops. She starts off as an annoying fangirl, a bully and just an overall rather unpleasant and unimpressive person. Now that on his own is fine: characters who started off like that have become fan favorites in other works. She realizes this between the Zabuza arc and the Chuunin exams and goes through important character development, growing independent of her crush on Sasuke (this being symbolized by cutting her hair) and brave enough to stand up to Gaara with a kunai. That’s great. Do you know what isn’t great? What happens next, that isn’t great. She immediately reverts back to earlier trends. When Sasuke leaves, all she does is cry and ask Naruto to do something about it. She could have gone with him - even if she would be deadweight for most of the fight, she sure as hell could have stopped Sasuke at the end of it when he was out of chakra and wounded. She could have brought help earlier. The point is, even being weak,she could have done any number of things to help, and she didn’t. Then she goes to train with Tsunade, yeah, I guess that’s good. Still, all her characterization from that point onward is annoyingly dependent on her sense of inferiority towers Naruto and Sasuke. She shouldn’t be defining herself by other people, and this is a great part of the disdain for her character in the fanbase going forward. In Shippuden, she starts off strong with an excellent performance in the first arc: she cures Kankuro in a way that requires more obvious skill than just the glowy-hands thingamajig, she blasts that huge rock apart, she beats Sasori. That’s amazing! Do you know what isn’t amazing? What happens next, that isn’t amazing. In fact it’s so not-amazing it’s infuriating. Exactly like after the Chuunin exams in part I, she immediately reverts to her earlier state. She does nothing except heal. And yeah, healing is important, but it’s something that any random mook can - and does - do. Where are her tactics? She’s supposed to be smart. Where are her fighting skills? She never throws a punch except at Naruto! She doesn’t even heal entertainingly like she did for Kankuro, with the poison smarts and whatnot, she just throws chakra at stuff until it goes away. It’s boring, and the fact that this boringness comes on the heels of the awesomeness above makes it grating. Her next bit of character development is when she decides to kill Sasuke. That’s great! It’s the logical next step of outgrowing an unhealthy crush. The guy had become a liability for everyone and everything she valued aside from him. IRL, when that happens, you cut him off, or you should. In the Naruto setting, you kill him. That’s sad, but it’s just how it goes. Unfortunately, she can’t go through with it, forcing Naruto, once again, to do (or not do) the dirty work. In other words, all this character development achieves is to cement Sakura in the role of pointless sidekick only there to pine after someone who quite frankly stopped being worth it several arcs ago. Her character never really changes after that. She realizes that Sasuke is bad, but not quite enough to put an end to him, until they get hitched for whatever reason. She tries to become stronger, and materially she does, but then her ultimate realization is pretty much that all she can do is watch Sasuke and Naruto’s backs - which is false because she could do so much more. She has no agency, no permanent growth. She wallows in her inferiority instead of actually being proactive about it.

It's the fact that she chose to confess her fake love in front of everyone that made it seem that much more unbelievable. I mean who confesses in front of an audience like that. And she had the audacity to get angry at naruto because he didn't believe she would come from the village and bring spectators to watch her confess

I liked Sakura at first. She was ok at first in the bridge building arc cuz she was only a genin but the freaking chunin exams made me loose all my respect for her. You would think she had developed some sort of jutsu but no.... she just bit someone and pass out in her fight with ino. And DONT even get me started on shippuden

Kishimoto said he couldn't write women, so he didn't even try. And he failed to see how toxic, unhealthy and abusive Sakura and Sasuke's "relationship" is if you think it deserves to be called one.

It is true... Naruto didn't feel like he had gotten any stronger at the start of Shippuden. I was expecting massive a massive power up after spending three years with Jiraiya... one-handed rasengans, more variations of toad summons, all sorts of new jutsu. Basically.... everything we saw happen after his brief stay at Toad Mountain. IMO, the training with Jiraiya just felt SO unnoticeable, Naruto could've been in a coma for the entire timeskip and the results would have been exactly the same.

Poison would do nothing against sasuke

Sakura should have been at least once badly beaten by naruto when in uncontrolled nine tails form when no one was around to help her

If you change sakura what would you change about keeping whats in the story like she'd still be on team 7 and would still train under tsunade but the shipping with sasuke could or would not happen

during the Pain arc Sakura is busy healing the injured villagers. she also beat Pain's summon animal and rescued some people while on the way to the hospital. the reason why Sakura cried out to Naruto was because they can't heal all the injured and Pain just created a crater on Konoha adding more injured people to be healed. (the injured are so great that it put Tsunade into a coma and with Shizune gone, both Sakura and Tsunade just can't keep up) Sakura trying to fight against Sasuke is similar to Hinata trying to fight Pain. both tried to fight a person capable of killing them and for the sake of the same person. (Naruto) they are also been saved by the same guy. also, Sakura is the one healing Hinata after Pain is done with her and she's the one taking care of Tsunade during her coma. why are you people okay with Hinata fighting Pain even with her dealing zero damage against Pain (the time she hit him in the anime is filler) while you guys are not okay with Sakura trying to beat Sasuke? both of them just wanted Naruto to be safe. while i do agree with part 1 Sakura is on the same level as shit, Shippuden and non filler arc Sakura is on a greater level.

But that was not the only case coz Naruto and Sasuke shared a bond of their own and naru's promise to sakura was one more tie of it.... And those who are saying naru saw the bullshit blah blah....Naruto truly deeply loved her and knew here better than anyone she is not someone who can forget her love so easily ....... (N just to make them pinch I might add he never said he did not love her he asked her why now?) and hence .he saw the lie which was said for his well fare from the pov of a friend 5-She freezes You go try killing someone you know.. ate lunch with ..saw grew up from childhood ..was your classmate ....your crush....your teammate...saved you in life threatening situation ..stood up for you .. hmm if you don't freeze or second guess your choice then ok she was at wrong for not being a psychopath 6- She tries to leave with Sasuke become rogue ninja so that she could be with Sasuke .you actually have no freaking clue about the things ur talking about so m done here ..... m pretty much dumb myself for it took me 8:34 minutes to come to this conclusion m leaving halfway coz i can't take more of this bs
