what even more epic is that : Jiraiya thought that Nagato was his destiny, because he possessed the Rinnengan, the eyes of the Sage, until his death he thought all of his life were nothing but failure, his thought to be prophercy child turn against him, Tsunade constantly reject him, and his snake friend betray the leaf village, until he realized that, Naruto the one he didn't even thought that were his own destiny in the end bring peace to the Leaf village, like hell the forth Hokage Minato even named his son after the main character of his own book, implied that Jiraiya after all this time has mastered his destiny, Tsunade after his death speak highly of him, and Orochimaru decided to help the leaf village, became somewhat of a goofball and later even raise his own son what a well written character i love it
I love how each person Jiraiya met on his journey that soon became a path of Pein showed subtle details on how they represented each path they were a part of. Also, it was really sad to see that Tsunade actually did want Jiraiya around, showing subtle hints that maybe she could have come around to the idea of them together, but he chose his destiny for the sake of the world over what could have been. What a gut punch, but a wonderful display of the theme of choosing to live for the hope of others vs. your own. 👏🏻
People really don't understand How Powerful Hanzo the Salamander was. Beating the three Sanins in their primes with other leafs ninjas at the same time is Kage level. Hanzo was unbeatable in his Prime and every village knew that which is why they all stopped using the Rain village as their battle grounds.
