+Symphonia30 I kinda liked how reserved to the background it was. Shikamaru is my favorite character and the thing I liked the least was when he was the main character for the Hidan/Kakuzu arc. Not tghat the story wasn't good, it was. But I always liked him as the side character where you just hear about what he's been up to and sometimes he'll be there to kick ass. Their relationship was rather obvious, even when it wasn't shown at all. Only thing was the start of Shippuden but everything else was kinda downplayed and, in my opinion, nicer that way.

I don't know. With ShikaTem all of their interactions felt like they could just as easily have been platonic, whereas every NaruHina interaction showed that Hinata was clearly interested in Naruto, and some implied that Naruto had an interest in her (though he was apparently too dense to even notice).

It wasn't even mostly still-images. People exaggerate way too much when making that statement. If anything it was about 50/50. It wasn't the wisest choice they could have made, but it would have took even longer for it to come out had they animated all of the cutscenes. I do agree on adventure mode which should have definitely been more fleshed out with full on voice acting. That was lazy.

Eddy6159 Yes it was. Its no exaggeration what-so-ever, especially if you played through the story, and saw it for yourself. You can't make the excuse that in-game cutscenes would've took too long, when CC2 did exactly that in Storm 1, 2 & 3. They even did it for that Story Mode in Storm Rev., and that was 100% filler. They also did it in Asura's Wrath. The video game anime visuals, are what CC2 is mainly known for, but Storm 4, takes the lazy route, and use still-images through most of the Story. Even if those still-images were animated, that still would've been lazy(and worse, because Studio Pierrot's animation sucks). The still-images aren't even the worse part of the story. CC2 skipped certain parts altogether. For example, no Chakra Chain Karin(yet her prison costume is in the game), even though Spiral Zetsu is there(as an alt. costume for Tobi btw), and they had Orochimaru & Hiruzen fight him instead. They skipped that whole thing where Karin is the only one that dealt some huge damage to Spiral Zetsu's Shinju Senju summon. Another example, in the manga, during the fight with Kaguya, when Obito had both Sharingan, and used Kamui to counter Kaguya's teleportation, there was one part where Sakura had to lend Obito chakra, because he was looking for Sasuke, who was in another dimension. When Obito had that slight power boost, he had the Creation Rebirth markings on him. CC2 skipped that, even though that would've been a cool fusion Awakening, and they must've known about that specific part, because that's where Sakura's battle damaged look came from.

+TheGameKeeper94 I own the game and have played it. I'm not supporting CC2 in anyway. I just don't particular care for when people exaggerate. I also didn't have a problem with someone of the alterations they made because although some were nonsensical, they didn't affect the story in a huge way which is why I seen no issue. Also, it wouldn't be the first time CC2 has altered plot points in the game adaptions. My thing is, I don't see why people complain about CC2 when they do this type of thing every game. Literally it's nothing we haven't been subjected to in the last releases so I just try to find merit in the positives. And for the many weaknesses the game has, there actually are plenty of positives. CC2 has shown that they won't change regardless of all this outcry so it's best to either ignore their releases or simply try to find what works and run with it.

Eddy6159 Still-images were *never* used in past games. Like I said, Storm 1, 2 & 3, didn't have them. Asura's Wrath didn't have them. And even their games back on the PS2, didn't have them. So its pretty fair for people to criticize such laziness & greed. It doesn't matter that it happened before, it *shouldn't* have happened in the first place. This is the *last* Storm game, and this is what we get? A half-assed Story, and a half-assed roster, and they have the balls to charge money for more content, that they locked on the disk, and took off the disk to sell later. I'm so glad I got that I got this game as a gift, I wasn't going to waste $60 on such a greedy & lazy game. I guarantee you CC2 would change if they stopped making money. And really? Try to find what works & run with it? Bullshit. You shouldn't have to force yourself through all the crap, to find a *little* bit of good things. Did you buy the game at full price? If so, you certainly shouldn't be forcing yourself to find what little good things there. Its the last Storm game, you paid $60, and expected tons of content in return. You shouldn't be making these excuses. Seriously, the only thing good about Storm 4, is the faster combat & Boss Battles, but they will *never* make up for the lazy Story, or the fact people will have to pay for The Sound 4, or that we *still* don't have The 7 Swordsman(yet they're in a Team Ultimate), or other characters we actually wanted(even though there are *22 empty slots*), yet modders can make those characters playable. I'm not joking, look up the 7 Swordsman mod, it puts all 7 Swordsman into one character, Hozuki, and he switches to the other Swordsman in different combos. And those said combos, are definitely new, they weren't in 3 or Rev., so CC2 will certainly sell the 7 Swordsman later.
