The problem isn't the effects, the problem is old men who keep making things that they think is what "the kids" like watching. That's how we ended up with a shitty Dragon Ball live action, and a shitty Avatar: TLA live action movie that didn't go anywhere. I think there are only a few live actions that lived up to their names, or at least as much as they could and produced some pretty decent stuff; Death Note (Japanese version), Attack on Titan and Great Teacher Onizuka. Other live action remakes of other anime, not so great. It really depends on the writer and producers, and how seriously they're taking this.

Just wanted to be clear with you Chris has been making these films for over 10 years and already in Hollywood. He choreographed the kingsman movies, as well as black Panther and Shang chi among others. It’s less about that and more about him getting full creative control on an action film.

@@ChineduOpara The problem with big corporation is either they dont want to invest in, like series based on the SCP Foundation (see SCP Overlord, which did a better job at being a horror short film than any mad by Netflix, or they invest in it and do it horribly, like they did with movies like the live action remake of Death Note or the horrible horrible live action adaptation of dragonball. (Also I don't think age is relevant when talking about anime, weebs nowadays are still interested in old anime like Neon Genesis Evangelion or Naruto. My first anime was a mecha anime from the 1970s and I liked it even though there were better animated ones at that time. Anime is an interest so you could 15 or 90 and still like the same things and relate with other weebs)

The shots flow so well because they go interrupted, I think stopping to add bruises(makeup) would really hurt the flow of the whole scene

@@onetwo6773 a fight scene always have stops in between shots most fight scenes takes weeks to actually get done, not to mention every shot atleast took 3 takes before getting used for the final product, flow? what are you talking about?

The guy i was talking to is saying that adding makeup like cuts and bruises to the actors would ruin the "flow" of the fight scene, which doesnt even make sense, how can adding makeup ruin the flow of the fight scene? he thinks that fight scenes are just filmed continuously without stopping and that makes a flow? nope. fight scenes have a fight choreographer in order to make sure that the fight scenes are good, stopping to add make up doesnt not ruin the "flow" because fight scenes are not filmed continuously, they are written, planned and filmed during a period of time not just all filmed together in one take. so my question to you is what are you talking about?

I feel its that way because for some reason they hire someone who isn't a committed fan inspired by the series, so they alter detail or leave our critical details, plots, ideas. Also with money and contracts comes outside influence and attitude, which often derails the quality of many movies, or as good as they may be with the first few seasons, Case in point "Dragonball Evolution, game of thrones season 8". You get the idea, but in the end that's only my opinion.
