About Pain's speech: THERE'S NO SPOILERS HERE. Pain's ideologies are feasible, they are reasonable things to do. Pain isnt contradicting himself when he starts referring to himself as "an ordinary Man" (he's dropping his pretense of beeing a "God" to truly have a heart-to-heart conversation with naruto as fellow disciples because he truly wants Naruto to understand his motives and see things from his perspectives). Actually nagato means That Pain is a god, while him a Man. We as the audience generally or all of Us side with Naruto and the hidden leaf because they're the "main characters" of the story. But Pain is "GIVING VOICE" to others here in the world that also suffer. I totally agree when Pain says "Humans are not the most intelligent creatures", due to the fact that we're essently a virus on the planet because we literatelly destroy other species and the environment of our planet, so That's right, biologically speaking Pain is more than 100% correct. On the other hand, From our perspective (human perspective) Pain is mad because he wants to Destroy nations and people? ( but That's The same thing the Leaf has done and Big countries do today in our real world as well, How Can You possibly deny That? Why is it ONLY Fair And OK for the hidden Leaf to have peace and justice when everybody else in The world also suffer Pain?? Lmao Pain is calling out the hipocrisy Naruto and The Leaf are trying to justify themselves (That part When pain talked to Tsunade, he said "Your peace has Only brought violence upon us all" That's what he means, That they (The Leaf) are hypocrites, which is true indeed. Pain's Idea for achieving peace is MAD (mutually assured destruction), which is the same system thats in place in OUR REAL WORLD today to deter nuclear War. He wants a world where M.A.D will keep the peace for a while and when it breaks, when people use tail beasts, they"ll experience pain again, and That pain will force them to Go back to the period of peace. This will continue over and over, that pain will keep humanities violent Nature in check, allowing peace to exist. You can definitely disagree with Pain's ideias of achieving peace because they're Pretty extreme from our perspective, however with his speech You Just can't, because he's spitting Facts here. Pain's character is a masterpiece completely, he's a character Very grounded in realism. Imo The Best Villain in Anime history. Everything about Pain's character is so well Written. He's so sick dude. He gave The Best Arc to This Amazing show.

You keep remarking how surprised you are at seeing Naruto act with strategy. I guess I get it but the battle between Naruto and Pain was to display all of the growth of Naruto up till then. Like his ability to think instead of just act impulsively. His ability to utalize his clones for their experience and as sage chakra batteries. His full arsenal of jutsu he can now use where as before he learned sage jutsu he was forbidden to use rasenshurikan because it caused damage to his chakra network. This is the point where Naruto achieved the rank of high level Shinobi.

Pain/Nagato may have lived through war and felt losses making him want peace, but with his actions he loses any high ground. He has so much blood on his hands with just Konoha that he is a major player in the cycle of hatred. What he is doing to Konoha isn't for peace it is for 'justice.' He lost 3 people, so he will take 100's of lives to 'even' the 'board'. Again the irony being that the one responsible for Yahiko's death was Danzo, but he let's him live. Doesn't even look for him because that will prove it is for justice not vengeance in his own mind at least. This doesn't include all the jinchuriki and others he has ordered to be killed for his own purposes. The irony of this person with a lakes worth of blood on his hands lecturing a person with no blood on his hands is surely missed by Nagato. While Naruto has injured quite a few fighting for his friend's (his) lives, but doesn't try to kill them. Often people give Nagato a pass and understand his actions. Yet he is seeking retribution not justice. He is taking lives without a care to who they are and if they are involved in his pain. He wants all the power to control everyone, but cannot control himself. He is a child lashing out using nice words to excuse his behavior even when it is obvious that he is a hypocrit. He has no real ground to stand on when it comes to lecturing others about pain, justice, and peace.

Honestly, I expected you to discuss Pain's speech in more depth which is the overall state of the world we live in. Paine here was not only talking about global domination and control of all the Tailed Beasts, he was talking about the continuity of hatred of both countries and individuals, with a cyclical repetition of events that can easily be predicted where the hatred and destruction of small countries does not stop and which after the devastation by the big ones countries and their interests, where in small countries they solve and protect interests, small countries cannot develop due to isolation. Pain talks about the change of order, that even small countries deserve to influence others, that it was enough to hear only one side because in our world we have a situation where only the USA and Ukraine are asked and Russia remains isolated due to alleged crimes even though Nazi Ukraine is obstructed The USA has been killing Russians in Donbass for years, and again only the Russians are to blame.
