As a BIG BIG Naruto fan I love this collection!. But…. I think it could’ve been better honestly.. really wish the Sharigan shade was a bright blue red metallic. I wish we could’ve had an orange and purple like the rennigan!. Still love this as a big fan but definitely a little underwhelming.. but I love your reviews thank you for doing this collection ✨✨❤️❤️

I did end up ordering the palette. I pictured something totally different when I first saw the initial sneak peek. I was also drawn to that green after seeing the images, but I wasn't expecting it to be THAT dark and olive toned.

I think what happens is they over saturate the image when editing which makes the products appear more vibrant than they are in person.

I got the whole collection lol I havent bought makeup in over a year and i had to lol. I know a lot of people arent impressed or think its too similar to the avatar and legend of korra pallette but i think between the packaging and imo there still some differences enough where i wanted to invest in it for myself. Thank you for this video ❤🎉

You're welcome beautiful :) I have the Legend of Korra palette and I honestly dont think they're that similar lol. This one (Naruto) has burgundy/pink whereas The Legend of Korra is more orangey/warm/red. I think what makes them look so similar is how the colors are laid out.

at first i wasn’t feeling the super shock shades (the colors do seem out of place w the palette scheme) but when you came back with your lashes and liner, it really made it pop! i think you made this work tbh, i love it!😊 i feel the same on the colors though, they went really neutral instead of doing some of the iconic naruto colors, so the palette doesn’t really jump out at you unless you’re a fan and a collector.

Lashes and liner add SO much 😂 you wouldn’t think that they would make the difference they do but it’s night and day lol!!! I totally agree with you, it’s more about the packaging than the colors aside from the super shock shadows! I feel those are on theme with the colors but the rest just eh

As a Naruto fan I was pretty disappointed but not surprised 😕 I understand wanting to make collections accessible and interesting for everyone but at the same time when they're doing IP collabs like this, their target audience is ultimately fans of the franchise who know the characters and color story and want to see that represented. But instead they give us a neutral palette with pops of color. I don't understand why they try to make these niche collections so basic.

I was surprised with how muted it is. They killed it with the packaging though. I sometimes wonder if they have limited options on colors they can do/include when they purchase the licensing rights. Like if the company they collab with only wants neutrals, etc.

I'm thankful to see you reviewing this since you've seen Naruto. I was a little sad everyone who I've seen review this collection so far has never seen it nor know anything about it - which they're not required to but as a fan it doesn't feel like they can speak to the Naruto fan about it necessarily. Plus I didn't feel like I could be as annoyed as I was that they mispronounced everything. Because if they haven't seen it, how would they know, but also some of their pronunciations were so far off I don't even know how they got where they got.

I feel you! It's almost disheartening when you're a fan and try to find a review on something and the person you're watching has no interest in it. Honestly that's why its good to look at multiple reviews if you're on the fence about something, especially collabs. I've noticed with collabs like this (TV/movies/etc.) there's 3 types of people who review it. 1.) People who genuinely love the TV/Movie the brand collabed with and are excited to review it. 2.) People who review to review and don't really know the TV/Movie and have no interest in researching before posting. They tend to 'post to post' and pump out a ton of content. 3.) Someone who doesn't know the TV/Movie but thinks the items look super cool and is interested in it only for the products. There's nothing wrong with any of them, its just you have to take them at face value :)

@BreyonnaFaye I honestly just wish they sent collabs like this to more select people - people who will research or who are interested in the IP. Because honestly the reviews who didn't care enough and just post to post didn't really provide any information to me except that it was "standard CP quality." Which is good to know, I guess, but I can't see the product in person, so I want to know if the colors look, in person, like we see on the show. I want to see looks inspired by characters even or anything like that. I'd just love to see more detail than just "idk if it's fitting but the quality is aight."

Some brands ask, some dont from my experience. Keep in mind too that even if a brand asks for genuine reviewers who are interested that a creator could say yes just because they want the collection/products for content purposes. In a business perspective a brand is looking for creators who will post/advertise the products to promote and drive up sales. However, its the creators job to relate to their audience, create content, research, etc. It unfortunately sounds like the people you were watching just didn't want to put time into the content they were creating and just were posting to post. It's why it's good to support creators who have good intensions and don't do things for cash grabs :)

@BreyonnaFaye oh I do know all that it's just a pet peeve😭 I think it was sorta 50/50 on the people I watched that just posted to post and some I follow some I don't. Really disheartened me because I think I thought better of some of them but now I question it a little. I still think they're honest I guess but it makes me feel like they don't care about what they're posting.
