So I don't think robot mops should be doing all the cleaning. It does what I need it to do. I would never expect it to clean a pile of rice or a 3day spill of liquid on my floor. Loved the video.
Seems promising, although it’s a lot of money. You are right about having to clean the pads, I have an M6 and it doesn’t take that much longer to replace the pad and fill the tank.
Hello, thank you for this great review. I notice in below comments you mention roomba 980 is best for carpets. My house is only tiled floors, so can you recommend which robot vacuum would be best for that? I’m not looking for anything too fancy, medium budget would be great.
I think the biggest thing to highlight is that it doesn’t vac AND mop at the same time. You’ll still have to switch things out and have storage. Just doesn’t seem worth it.
Depends on your needs, for carpet. The best overall I've tested for carpet so far would be the Roomba 980. The best value for money would be the S5 Max. or S4 Max. Budget option is a toss-up, I like the DreameTech D9, it's one of the least expensive smart robot vacuums. I still have a lot to test so I could not do a compilation video yet, but stand by for it.
My S6 MaxV is great. It takes about 6-7 rooms plus mopping on one charge. And for me anyway it looks clean. Only thing you need to do is clean the mopp and maybe a extra big cleaning yourself once each second week. I got my S6 MaxV for the same price as S5 because they going to release the new S7 this month.
I hv this.. i use it mainly for mopping and it did a gd job... But for vacuum the suction is not strong enough and id prefer if it comes with roller brush with strong suction of at least 4000pa
I guess it doesn’t expect you to use vaccume very often and mopping is enough most of the time. It’s likely true if your home is all tile/wood floor and you have a good habit of not littering at home
@Retro Everything well it's not about laziness, it's about price and convenience. The whole point of robots is automation, what's the purpose of automation if it's doesn't function on its own.

Its basicly a mop robot with a vacuum... Not bad. Not good. Would rather buy a good robot vac from roborock and a dedicated mop robot for combined price prbably less than this thing
At 0:22 you say you base your finds on test results to be subjective. I think you mean objective. Subjective means it could be based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions
I purchased one and I regret making the purchase because the pad dries very fast and most of the times is not even napping mopping and just running around with the dry pad, there's no option on the app to make it go and wash more frequently, I emailed the tech support and they said that's how it is suck it up buttercup!
Do you recommend the dreame d9? Lots of conflicting videos on youtube. I'd love the s5 max but if the d9 can do maybe 95% of how the s5 max can perform, for the price difference, is it good enough? Also, you pinoy?
Dreame D9 is a notch below the S5 Max in terms of vacuuming. I'm not sure why, it could be the flaps in front of the brush hindering its performance, but it's just a notch below. If vacuuming performance is a deal-breaker, I'd go with the S5 Max.
@@CordlessVacuumGuide thanks! Lots of european reviewers are giving the d9 a good review. Apparently there's 2 different versions, the north american version and the euro/asian version (with removable end caps on the main brush). May I ask what version you have?
It seems like ur telling us its not a good product but in a happy and cheerful way but i ended up understanding you. But yeah £900 for this isnt worth it
Plz do not buy this product U will suffer from its application And possibly make u buy an expensive brick. Plz do some research and u will know that I am not the only one having this prob.
$1000 for an automated floor mopping system. Umm, no thanks. I will continue to mop my floors by hand while my S9+ keeps cleaning my floors on a regular basis.
To be honest I don't really like this robot. Yeah it's cool that it washes pads itself but there are too many cons and it can't vacuum and mop at the same time. What Ecovacs and Roborock are doing is a way better strategy imo.
