the mispronunciation of names is cringe worthy. the attempt to pronounce kelis made me stop the video right there. thanks for the effort but if your gonna continue to do hip hop facts type videoS, be a fan atleast.
Andrew Paul Because people who don't know good music (Majority of people) value club bangers rather than skilled lyricism. That's why the West Coast dominated the Early 90s, and why people favor Jay over others and majority of people (who once again don't know anything about music) don't know anything about Canibus, Big L, Rakim, KRS-One etc.
+mrm64 production on Represent will always be my favourite! Lyrically not the best, but that beat is bananas.. 2nd favourite can't be picked that shit is straight flawless and timeless
Corrections 1 Its Marley Marl not “Mar” 2 Rakim is pronounced Ra' KIM not Rakeem 3 Its Akinyele (pronounced Ah kin nelly) not akinyell 4 Its Joe Fatal not Fatal 5 It's live (rhymes with hive) at the bbq not "live" at the bbq 6 It isn't 16 bars that Nas has on this song it's 26 bars 7 Jay Z and Nas publicly known rap beef didn’t begin the same year Biggie died (1997), it came out in the open in 2001, But it had been going on likely since Nas threw the first jab in 99. 8. Kelis is pronounced Kell leese not Kellis.
You caught a bunch of mistakes lol. I'm wondering when he showed a picture of Fatal from the Outlawz was that the right Fatal? I'm going to check if that's the same fatal.

Some of you didn't know this but Nas also dissed Eminem back in the early 2000s when Eminem decided to be a part of a beef between Jay-Z and Nas in 2001 it lasted about 7 or 8 years from 1997-2004 or 2005.
He was actually born in Brooklyn and moved to the Queensbridge projects in Queens at a young age. So he reps Queens because he grew up there, but was born in Brooklyn
Wise Dmc yeah that's what I've heard, all the neighborhoods have been gentrified, Bronx and Manhattan too I guess idk actually I never been to NY myself Lol
+CLAWZ CLAWZ Oh, you mean talking about all of his charity organizations, works in the black community, and his influence in regards to being one of the favorite rappers of more than a few of today's current hottest rappers? Yea...that would be dope.
Syncere Bethea dude, I know nas is still famous. but he is not as famous as he was. all the things you just said would go in the video I recommended. For example, dr dre after they were famous. After he made all those famous albums. he sponsored beats. even though dr dre is still very famous, he is not as famous as he was.
