Shot in LA. The freestyle is about accepting death as the end of an experience rather than what made you. I chose the The World Is Yours instrumental because 1. a theme in the verse is identifying with the world and nature rather than yourself and 2. I've been meaning to get a Nas freestyle in for so long, glad I finally had the chance. Related: Pete Rock made the beat - when I first started freestyling (middle school) one of my go-tos to practice and rap over was the beats off Petestrumentals. My dad put me on.

Clarity? A good mic+preamp, some acoustic treatment, brighter eq, heavier compression, and a lot of trial and error. Still learning a lot mix-wise but preciate that! Main advice would be get a reference track and keep going back and forth trying to get yours to sound closer.

even though its rhymed in abstraction the message about identity struggle is very relatable.check out chester watson who has similar psychological themes but presents them in a surrealist inspiration.not trying to act like a know-it-all,this is just a 2 cents which may help you develop and refine the style you want to present.great rhymes,great potential! :)
