Pete Rock was a much better hype man than DJ Premier. His voice isn't as obnoxious over Nas' rapping. But respect to Preemo, hands down my favourite producer.

this nigga here! smh nobody going to play Hot Thing by Talib Kweli in the club, I'd rather hear that shit on sunday's BBQ while chilling with the family, ante up on the other hand always been buck anthem at the club but the song is not lyrical they're straight forward with the lyrics plus the beat is aggressive. If I want nas at the club I wanna hear hate me now and made you look not cos of the lyrics, the beat.

Hip Hop never been about sells, you didn't hear niggas crying cos they didnt sell in the 90s, it was about the quality of your music. Hip Hop is about innovating and most the rappers are stil stuck in the 90s. real hip hop is not just been lyricist as well cos sugar hill gang and Africa Bambaataa weren't lyrical, they made party/dance songs and so is waka flocka. I dont want to hear the world is yours in the club

there are alot of rappers that I don't really like but i can respect because i can see the tallent like jay z, or even drake but lil wayne and rick ross are garbage (just like maste p was uhhhhhh) i have better skills than them (but thats not saying much because im sure 80% of you here do too. waynes delivery/ style is garbage but mainstream likes it. lately the guy that I like is J cole. that guy has tallent. oh also WAX (but hes not big at least not yet, but i hope he blows up)

Man, this has to be one of the greatest videos I have ever seen, I mean Premo, Pete and Nas all performin' on stage, getting the crowd hype and most importantly having fun. I really hope one day along with Large Professor and Q-Tip, they get together and make another album that will resurrect the Hip Hop scene because that is what we really need right now.
