People : well, it’s obvious that we can’t fly. Astronauts: *are you sure about that* ( astronauts didn’t really fly, I know lol but If you stop and thinking... we’re flying right now: the planet Earth is floating on the universe, that’s means that we actually are flying lol )
Good news that humanity is sending astronauts on Lunar surface in couple of years. It is better to take shelters in craters there for further exploration purposes.
Why were they not smart enough to build the space station in a circle and have it spin to simulate gravity. Like the movie interstellar. You just dock with the center and match the rotation speed. Or simply stop the rotation before docking.
The thing is you need a very big circle (otherwise your head moves too much faster than your feet and that causes problems). The ISS is not big enough for this (and it would have been much too expensive to launch all the material for something bigger). Hopefully one day somewhat soon we'll be able to build something much bigger that can have viable spin gravity.
^ as you type that on a device made possible by that same "science", forged by manufacturing processes based on the "science" of silicon fabrication, communicating on protocols and signals and physical links all made possible by "science", using computing software that has been refined over decades thanks to "science"
