The #3 MAP Data Systems Mustang entered the Mid-Ohio racetrack for Friday test and tune session #3 to test our corrective actions for the throttle body failure that put the car into limp mode in the previous session. As you can see, the throttle body failure did not occur during this session, so the MAP Motorsports team was hopeful it was fixed.
Our apologies to fellow American Iron series driver in the beautiful orange #7 car for the pass in Thunder Valley turn 10, followed by an off-course excursion in T11, and an immediate entry into pit lane. That was not the plan. Sorry.
