Because building a laser that strong would likely be impossible and if possible would require unbelievable amounts of power, time and funding. Six thrusters would have enough power to push them back out to space. These magnets would be completely unmanned and controlled from the NASA HQ by Air Force pilots. They would be the size of aircraft carriers, meaning 1 mile long and half a mile thick. These other ways will not help. They smashed a space probe into one, and it moved barely an inch. A magnet will start those thrusters, grab the space debris, and push it away.but if you have a better idea why don't you do like i did contact nasa see where it gets you
