For decades, the global space community has had a vision of sending humans to the Moon and Mars - not just for a quick visit, but to have a sustainable presence there. In order to enable this vision, innovations in communications, transportation, sustainable living, food production, high tech health devices, design and animation, and so many other areas must be explored and integrated into all that we do. Dr. Christyl Johnson, Deputy Center Director for Technology and Research Investments at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, will share insights into NASA’s 2040 vision, and what will be needed to achieve this vision.
