The whole car and paint scheme list for the Nextel Cup drivers in Nascar 2005. I was recording footage for something else in this game and noticed I had these unlocked, so I decided to record these too. I might do the other series later on.
To note: I don't think I ever actually beaten this game, this was just a game save from me messing around with my Gameshark. When I was a kid, I used to experiment with cheat codes a lot for fun, hehe.
The video was recorded on my PS2 with Roxio Game Capture HD Pro and I used component cables. However, the quality isn't going to be on par with emulation quality, just saying that right now.

I wish they had the Corn Flakes scheme for Terry Labonte’s car. One of my fav NASCAR titles hands down.

I played this one, my dad was in like 2026 in his career though. I liked the addition of the 24hrs of Daytona spec cars, but Thunder 2003 on PC and its modding community remains my favorite. I liked Nascar 07, the old PS1 Heat games, and like the other guy mentioned, Rumble was a fun twist as well. My first Nascar game was the 96 or 97 one one the PS1.

Oh right, this game had Daytona prototypes; I forgot about that. I honestly haven't played a Nascar game on PC before, I personally wouldn't mind trying NR2003. My first Nascar game was Thunder 2002 on the PS1, but I played Nascar 99, 2001, Thunder 2003-04, and 07.

Haha I remember this game! Back then there was thses video stores you could rent games from. This was one of them good times. Speaking of NASCAR my other favorite NASCAR games was NASCAR Rumble. I was hoping by now it would of been remastered. Nevertheless, I appreciate the upload. Dude if your on twitch ill follow ya and subscribe. You always upload great content on RU-vid. Blockbuster was basically how I got introduced to multiple racing games as a kid, hehe. :) Eh, I never played Nascar Rumble, I know what it is. I recently watched gameplay of it, but it just doesn't look like my thing.

Some games that would be cool to see are CART World Series and TOCA World Touring Championship, the former is genuinely tough and the latter was a generation ahead of its time. Both on PS1

If you're looking to see gameplay of CART, you're going to have to look elsewhere. I'm not too big on open-wheeled cars, so I'm not going to be interested in trying that. I mean, I've tried some F1 and Indy cars every so often in the games I have now, but I usually only drove them for a few laps before moving on to something else.

Mayfield and the 19 car where supposed to be on the cover of the game as well but were replaced with Harvick the whole thing was very odd

I haven't played anything beyond Nascar 07, so I wouldn't know. Between the ones I played though (Nascar 99, 2001, Thunder 2002-04, 2005, 07), I would say this game in terms of car selection. There's not only 4 racing series from Featherlite to the cup series, but this game also has production cars to drive like the Ford GT and Dodge Viper SRT-10.

@@syahminorizan8064 I would say the best NASCAR driver of all time is Richard Petty for his 200 cup series wins, 7 championships, and multiple Daytona 500 wins. However fans will debate on the best being Dale Earnhardt, Jimmie Johnson, and even now Kyle Busch. There's also other great drivers like Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, David Pearson, and Dale Jarrett.
