I wasn't expecting to see you at the Daytona race. It's a world of difference going straight for 4 seconds versus going left for however long a Nascar race is and that depends on what track you're at. When you are at Daytona or Talladega you can ALWAYS COUNT ON A MASSIVE WRECK DUE TO THE RESTRICTOR PLATES KEEPING EVERYBODY BUNCHED UP. LOT'S OF CARS ARE DESTROYED AND LOT'S OF MONEY GONE TO REPAIR EVERYTHING, THAT IS IF IT CAN BE REPAIRED. I'VE SEEN THEM WHERE THERE WASN'T A PIECE OF THE CAR THAT COULD BE SALVAGED. GLAD YOU AND BRENT GOT TO GO AND SEE HOW DIFFERENT THE RACING IS. AND WHAT A GREAT TEAM OWNER IN RICK WARE RACING INCLUDING Y'all. He's got to be the best boss ever along with Jimmo. I swear your channel is a breath of fresh Air you and Cletus and Old Mans Garage.

You know what I've never watched top fuel really at all in my life, but after seeing you over the weekend watching these videos with you and Cletus I was like okay this guy is pretty cool he seems pretty genuine with what he does and says it seemed like you're more grateful for the people around you then actually driving. And I enjoyed the crap out of the footage from Florida. I just finished a video of your's with Kalynn in it and the emotion that you showed towards her just proved to me that everything that I was thinking about you was correct and you definitely have gotten a new lifetime fan.

Raced bikes back in the 80s.Went to Daytona once. It was amazing. Being right there on pit lane. Watching a friend I taught to ride go around this great track.

Never made the connection before, which is surprising since so much of my 70 years has been involvement in both, but racing & baseball have one very big thing in common: there is way more failure than success. The difference between mediocre & Hall of Fame in baseball is an increase in your rate 1.5x's out of 10. A mediocre player hits 0.235, increase by 1.5 & he's hitting .385 & a shoe in for Cooperstown. Racing is even less. A single win puts a driver on the map, grab 3-4 in 20 years & that's a great career. You better be able to put the losses behind you to excel in either. Thanks for taking us along, Clay. You know, I'm getting this Spidey sense that Rick has something in mind for Clay when the day comes for him to quit stompin'. He's taking Clay around to meet everyone in RWR & we know, once you meet Clay, you're friends. What a great ambassador & motivational person Clay would be for ALL of RWR. Rick isn't bringing other racers to Clay's show, you notice? Good things for our boy... mebbe host of RWR.tv?

Haven’t really watched nascar in years, in fact if it wasn’t Bobby and Donny racing Richard and Cale well I probably wouldn’t remember it! That being said, Rick promotes drag racing and my favorite team so maybe I’ll give it a second chance!
