i watched this live, i was nervous and had chills on the final lap. when joey logano peeked to the outside on the back stretch, i felt that i almost had a heart attack. i thought he was going to pass him. it was about time he won a race.
I’m not a NASCAR fan. Though I do know who this family is just because of their popularity. I can’t imagine the loss you all felt when you lost this man. Because even now, watching this...it brought a tear to my eyes. RIP Dale Sr.
Before the weekend started jr pointed over the fence called his shot and said im beating all of you Saturday brad k. Joey... Kyle busch all them i will beat you....... And he freakin did came through.... at the track that took his own fathers life...... HALL OF FAME DALE JR.... CLASS OF 2020 LETS GO!!!
Okay I'm so sick of every one saying it was a set up for jr to win, It was a tribute to his father and all of sr fans to see the number 3 one more time and it was just bouns jr won . stop the hating and be happy for him that he got to races his dads number and he raced just like his dad would of in that car.
seeing that number 3 in victory lane again gives me chills and no that was not a set up any one in that number three gets in it and they turn into the intimidator there will never be another dale sr but in that race jr drove just like his daddy
I guess all the people talking crap weren't even around 10 years ago, he dominated these plate races back then. Not too far fetched to believe he can pull one off again.
That car abd that #3 was magic for jr he should took his dads number and used it he could have still wrote his own legacy. Everytime he drobe his dads number he won wish he drobe that car.
For that whole race, I was so Nervious that when i seen the 3 fade to the back, I thought it was over but then when that 3 slowly started to come to life, That's when i had a feeling it wasn't Jr. Driving, That was Sr. Driving.
I always felt this was a bit scripted even back then. I should have bet on him to win though I’m not sure sports betting was legal back then. Everyone knew he would win in that car. The rest of the drivers didn’t even try to pass him.
This was awesome....it's amazing how well jr. runs when hendrick gives him quality equimpment. I'm sick and tired of hearing jimmie johnsons name and seeing his picture, he doesn't deserve any of those championships. They were givin to him not earned, earnhardt eraned everything he won.
NASCAR should retire four car numbers from.their Cup Series to honor the drivers who once raced cars with those numbers: Car 3 for Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Car 14 for A.J. Foyt. While Foyt only raced part-time in NASCAR (he ran full-time in Indycar), he did win several big NASCAR races. Car 24 in honor of Jeff Gordon. And car number 43, in honor of perhaps the greatest NASCAR racer of them all, Richard Petty.
