@10stanie yeah I had ear plugs, we were in like row 30 something.. was loud still but didnt have to have ear plugs.. I was filming this with my finger in my left ear.. the next pit stop I hurried and got the plugs in my ears haha
no definitely not.. I went to Clemson/Miami 2005 football game where it hit 132 decibels and you could still hear to talk.. this is closer to 175-200 decibels
I re-watched it for the first time in about 8 years.. Vertical and horizontal flip phones.. I was using a top of the line digital camera with like, a 4mp sensor.. I remember the guy to my left over reacting to everything.. Our tickets were 40+ rows up but we went to front row.. I was a big fan for years and only lived 3 hours from Bristol.. And 10+ years ago, i could never have told you i would now live within 8 minutes of Bristol and not really care about NASCAR anymore.
@@Downshiftvideo wow .. things really do change over time. I was pretty deep into nascar myself. Can’t stand to sit and watch it anymore. With the way things are now with this year , it’s nice to know there’s throwbacks like this to dive into .
@SuperCoolDude2014 I dont know haha, I think the cars were getting to 130mph or something.. but it was damn loud.. would not be surprised if louder than 200db.. but could be around there
