And as we knew it, the Bristol incident helped lead to costing Shane Hmiel's NASCAR career..... I really wish we really knew what was going on with him, because he was a guy that had so much talent....

they flew cover early on as he was part of dirty mo posse and there were rumors of "stuff" he was doing. the lid was off when he and mike wallace wrecked at rockingham..I thought mike was going to tear shane's head off to shut him up.

I know it’s very rare for the fans and even rarer for the drivers to ever see Dale Jarrett this upset but that’s one of those examples where Shane Hmiel decided to FAFO & that was not smart w/ one of the coolest/ level-headed people in the garage, talking about DJ. I will say it’s kind of funny that two of the most pissed off times I’ve ever seen Dale Jarrett were at Bristol. I’ll have to find the other video, I think it was from 1993 there, the year he also won the Daytona 500 I believe because he was still driving the Interstate Batteries #18 JGR car in that fired up vid! PS: side note: I’m pretty sure at this point in Shane’s life, Shane was still definitely on drugs and had a chance to really make a big comeback and rebound after everything, but never could quite get shit together!

When you take the "Danger" factor out of Racing, you've cut out it's Soul & when the driver fear's not injury or death, then you get the hail melon crap 🤷🏻‍♂️ Gotta give the boy credit for trying it though, cause if he had crashed anyone, they would have tar'd & feathered his ass 😉
