NASCAR Heat 5 Daytona Cup Setup (Updated) 200 mph w/no draft 45.5 lap times 

Wow i have only just brought this game and the pack racing is freeking awesome. I have played F1 for a few years and now i get why you Americans love Nascar. I am converted. I am not UK now i am a good ol American guy. Thanks for the set ups they help immensely

Your setups are, In my personal opinion, the best on RU-vid!! I’ve tried other setups but your’s resonates the best with my driving style. And I completely agree with your 4th gear argument. Maybe I’m not doing enough or aren’t skilled enough to make shifting in the draft work but I for sure get more speed keeping it in 4th. THANKS!

I’m having a hard time holding a steady line with this setup, any movement on the stick and it feels like I’m flying out of my lane. Any tips besides having a steady finger lol

It's weird, I tried this setup last night worked fine as I was hitting 199-201 without a draft. But now today, I struggle to hit 190. Very odd. Edit: I found out what the problem was, I was being dumb and not driving the correct line. I was making it hard for the car to pick up any real speed.

This setup is unbelievable in the draft but so hard to control on controller. Put me into a death wobble

Kudos on this set up, a lot of fun. Been running it on endurance mode. Saves the left sides pretty good so you can sneak in a 2-tire stop if you get in a bind and still able to drive through the field. Upped the wedge a little because I was loose off 4 and all it really affected was my block a little, lost some speed cutting low but a beast in the draft so no worries if you lose a position

I've gotta get a steering wheel or I'm afraid I've gotta step away from this game. It's such a pain in the ass trying to hold the car steady in the corners. You either drift down into the yellow or try not to and smack the idiot above you. Not to mention you can't catch anybody in the straight away yet you come flying into them all at the beginning of the turns. I just wish they would make a better NASCAR game. This one was fun for a while but it's really just gotten to be annoying. Anyhow man you're great as always and just wanted to say thanks for the all the help. Gonna try to give it another shot once I get a wheel setup

80 75 75 car, raised wedge a few clicks, dropped gears and right track bar 2 clicks. Could run top 10 vs pc first season in cup

Okay I'm wanting to look at your setup for this to see if I can improve what I did the first Daytona race I noticed on this one your using a will how much difference would that make if you're using a controller I am playing this on an Xbox One

I think raising the ride height works for gaining speed because downforce works better closer to the ground, so the more space between the car and the ground the "lighter" it will be

Qualified higher than everat a 105 AI 100% daytona race On heat 4 qualified mid pack always. with this setup i qualified P12, Dominated the whole race lead 108 laps, Thanks for the greatsetups, I woulda qualified higher but messed up my lap only got to 200 mph barely without support on the top avg speeed was around 201.79MPH was running 44.8s on the top withoutsupport, Ran the bottom AVG lap time with support 44.5 to low 44.6s, Didnt best my heat 4 best lap at 43.8s only got 43.9, Peaked at 214MPH in the pack running top 5 with a push from behind a big run from the top peaked at 214.5MPH. I could barely hold my line (i play with a controller) I've used wheel but i couldn't go anywhere. Edit: This is the third time I've run your setups for a 100% race i've won 2 of them Daytona today Killing it leading 108 laps, ISM or Phoenix Lead 221 out of 312 and charlotte Lead less than 10 laps.

To calculate a different final gear to run a 3rd gear. Multiply the final drive gear ratio by what ever 3rd you decide on. (2.80x1.05=2.94 3rd gear final drive)

I'm using a controller like you said Adjusting the sway bar a couple of clicks and lowering my steering down to zero did the trick and drive better ..but the rig JIGGLES when it goes into the turn it jiggles all the way through the turn how can I stop that JIGGLE???

I think this is a good setup but it’s not for me. I’ll stick to your older one. The problem I have is I shift into fourth way to late. Still gave the video a 👍 though

Great set up. In fact when i qualified in the middle pack my gears kicked up so fast that i was outspeeding the pack. When i got first I never had to even worry about the competition catching up to me.

This set up doesn't work since the update.. Car overheats quickly..

Good info but max the wedge and wieght out front n rear springs change the camber to 8-9 and gear settings I bet you a BAND you knock a sec off... Ur welcome!!!

You have to know if you put this shitty setup in your car, your going to slide all over the fcking place!! Especially after about 12laps!!
