Tips for superspeedways dega and Daytona stay on the bottom and use your mirror and turn you driving aids to expert and will take a while to get but that's why test session is in the game and find custom setups and make the race longer
At Daytona, .1 of a second is the difference between 1st and 20th in qualifying. You've got a 4 star ride, so you're never gonna be near the top in qualifying. Stay in the draft as much as you can and pass on the inside on the straights. Don't be afraid to giver other drivers a nudge. Try to not bump the back of other cars cause that gives them a big push and you lose momentum. It's easy to go from 40th to first at Daytona in just a couple laps once you're used to it. And if you're running longer races, you have to let off the gas and let the draft drag you so you can conserve fuel. Don't do that till your in the lead pack. Just ride right behind another car that's running the inside lane and use 1/2 to 3/4 throttle
Look, I'm Canadian. I'm Blue Collar sure and I love racing. But with that said, I don't know a thing really about NASCAR. Except it's fast cars, that used to be based on real production vehicles way back when. And it's a lot of laps. I'm thinking a game and a let's play like this will be a good way to dip my toes into this culture. Your commentary was great!

I always wished they one of these NASCAR games would animate some planes landing and taking off out or DAB right behind the back straight. i do like that they added in the Halifax hospital across the street.
would love to see more of this your one of the only ones playing with a wheel and i def think you should start out with dirt racing and work your way up
Tmar I want to thank you for this video, not only was it entertaining but you teached me something new about oval racing and thats when you're not on the oval close to the wall but not too close, and when you're on the oval a little down from the wall, thanks for teaching me man 😁😁😁 P.S I want to be a motorsport Racer so my racing wheel is giving me a headstart into doing so, anyway Cheers and cheerio!
Just a tip for plate tracks, (Daytona & Talladega) quick qualifying won't work. The developers based it on group qualify. You can switch that in the settings. Good content though, I enjoyed the video!

tbh usually qualifying goes shitty because you have no draft to work with. unless you’re a top car you’re not gonna usually qualify above like 15-20 range
