And another bullshit finish under yellow because of these bullshit cars they won’t fix. They need to Model something after the damn gen 4 car circa about 2004 and fix the damn sport.
Same, then it wasn't even available to stream on Peacock. I thought for sure all races were. But you can barely even find any NASCAR content on Peacock. What gives?
So sad that NBC had to change the channel at the end of the race. They would’ve done that with other sports. And to see it was for an animal show. I DON’T UNDERSTAND THAT DECISION.
They have been doing it for Many years but so has Fox it only happens if it gets to the Alloted time because they already have something is in the Time Slot for Arkansas its the News
I don’t wanna be that person that keeps complaining but for Christ sakes can we pick a channel to watch the race on? Or better yet have our own platform like the NFL?
@@philosopherpresident4896except the fact the 45 was catching Larson and would have had a chance to try to make a pass that last lap. Larson was handed the win.
I think most fans like to see the race finish under green. You could have waived the yellow before the last lap. Whichever channel you choose to broadcast should avail you the opportunity to show the whole race.
What bullshit NASCAR!!! You let them stop the coverage for local news!?! NBC start doing that for football if you are going to start it with NASCAR!!! This is the second time since you took over! You SUCK!
Ya no coincidence that they let it hit the white flag their golden boy Larson was out front so ok Larsons in the lead screw it let the white flag come out then throw the caution what a Joke if Elliott or anybody else was leading that would have been the quickest yellow flag in history...
I’m pretty sure it was because they wanted to give the guy a chance to refire but he couldn’t move so they called it before the 5 got to the straight away where the spun out car was.
@@papi_cris If Larson was second, they would have thrown the caution as soon as the car got sideways. It always favors Hendrick. Especially in Crown Jewell races.
@@jeffjackson482 people forget they hook Ryan car up to the wreaked, that's the probably the end of the day for him.. Everyone was also close to being outta gas. Restacking the field would be an extra 3 laps. Most couldn't make it that far, plus the caution lapf.
Being there watching it, I get the sense it was a better race to attend than to watch on TV. That being said, the folks around where I was sitting were rather confused why no caution thrown for Preece. A few guys in front of me were talking about how Preece's car was dead on the track before they even made it to turn 3
@@deliriouswhome1yes they did. Where was the caution for the car not moving on the backstretch before the white flag??? Tell me why nascar didnt put the yellow
@@missioufojet no they didn't , that's was the perfect call in that situation.. First off the first car was wel, off the track, in no danger of getting hit.. Secondly They allowed preece , time to get his car going , they have to do that Third and final reason, fuel. Restacking probably equals multiple drivers running out, possibly even causing another wreak.. Alot drivers were very low on fuel.. NASCAR made the correct call..
@@deliriouswhome1 no mistake my tush, they let Larson jump the restart when Blaney was the control car when Brad K ran out of gas. Then they waited to throw the caution for 20-30 seconds when Preece's flat tires got him stuck. And the "let him see if it roll" excuse is bs. Because a car with flat tires limping along at 15-50 MPH throwing debris as tires come apart is so safe versus a stationary car. And for NBC to force a crown jewel race's ending to USA channel for local news.
Yep, couldn't agree more.... anything more than 2 road courses/year, is too much. I love turning left, it's what I do best. And, take them stupid, God for-saken restricter plates off, especially on non super speedways. 1 1/2 tracks and Michigan, no plates!
Longer, higher lap number duration races also, please. Separates the true fans from the "entertain me now and often!" bs crowd. And a better durability test of both man AND machines!
The conclusion was botched by NASCAR; the yellow should have appeared long ago, thus there will be another restart to prevent Lawson from winning the race.
Of COURSE they're empty when dumb NASCAR gives the win to their darling baby Kyle Larson. Like the caution should have come out immediately when Preece wrecked but NOOOOOO let's let our pookie bear Kyle to win cuz it's not like he has 3 wins already and is locked in the playoffs 😃 Like nascar is so dumb now I'm tried of it. I might just stop watching
Why don't they just put a clock on the race? At the end of the allotted time (if it goes past the prescribed laps/miles), it's over and they determine the winner. Also, why didn't they penalize Byron for causing an accident that took out Johnson and Logano? He apparently wasn't paying attention to what was going on around him.
A same situation happened in the 2023 Pocono race were on the final lap Hamlin was leading and then pre-spawn out because he had a flat tire and he was trying to fire his car and he couldn't fire his car
It should have but this time I kind of agree with NASCAR. I think 1/3 of the field was already taken out The broadcast switched to a different network towards the end People running out of gas It was a shirt show and It needed to end
They didn't give the race to Larson. He earned that shit. He started 23rd at the last restart and with badass moves in about 25 laps moved to 1st. How the hell did they give it to Larson? I'll wait. 🙄🙄
I agree, keep it on a local station not everybody has cable. It's all over the place. It's on channel 4 . It used to be channel 8 ,26, 72. Getting tired of not being able to watch it.
@TIoerSoec Yes, of course races shouldn't end this way. It would be appropriate since the 41 couldn't get the car out of the way unless he was able to get it up and going. I like seeing underdogs finish well or even winning. They may not have as good of equipment compared to other teams or just not as talented of a driver or not ever finishing in the top 20. Another overtime could have made a better finish, I was bummed too by that.
Not everyone on the planet can afford cable and I was supremely upset when NBC just cut away assuming that all of us have USA on our TVs too. What a joke! Thank you for the final couple of laps!
Not really, McLaren just made to mistake to pit norris girst instead of piastri. And what in the ferrari strategy callswas this that they had to watch out for hamilton???
The only reason Lando was ahead was McLaren team orders allowed him to pit out of sequence (the lead car in a team gets preference to pit first) and get an undercut on Oscar. They did this and let the drivers know they would redress later in the race. What bit of that don't you understand?
Welcome to the club lol, pretty much the only way I stay up to date with racing. Last mustang challenge race or whatever I watched at Watkins Glen ended under a pacecar SMH. Literally since the race clock doesn't stop i watched 30 minutes of caution laps hoping for at least 10 minutes of racing. All this stuff sucks now!
We need a nascar subscription platform for ppl who can’t afford cable cuz sling is still expensive for being the cheapest way to watch and still doesn’t have access to every single race of the season
In my opinion NASCAR should have thrown the caution about the time the leaders were at the restart zone. That gave the 41 plenty of time to attempt to get the car rolling, and still, when it became apparent the car wasn't going to roll, NASCAR had time to throw the yellow and finish the race the way it should have.
This was my first time watching nascar, can someone help me out? Was the race over after the final caution? The racers didn’t have to race to the finish line? TIA
The conclusion was botched by NASCAR; the yellow should have appeared long ago, thus there will be another restart to prevent Lawson from winning the race.
Yea I was there and it was kinda sad how many seats were empty. This Gen 7 car is just so restricted on its full potential. The lack of hp, no tire wear and almost impossible to pass. It was literally follow the leader. Teams are spending the same amount of money as they did in the previous car. Wish NASCAR had new leadership that cares and would make changes.
All these motorsports ending under caution SMH i watched 30 minutes of caution laps at Watkins Glen like a month ago. It's like you can't catch good racing for anything.
Nascar glazing Kyle like no other and tte Sponsor says it all. 1. Driving for Hendrick motorsport and having it as a sponsor is so wrong. 2. Being Jeff Gordons favorite driver = he gets the fastest car (Larson) 3. with this sponsor he NEEDS the fastest car so Hendrick Motorsport can show how good there cars are. It would make 0 sense to give Larson the worst car of them 4 because it would show that the Hendrick cars are bad = no one would buy cars from them.
I recorded the race and like other have stated already it switched to USA so I had to come here to watch it. If Kyle Busch doesn't wreck with 3 laps to go there's a chance there wouldn't have been overtime(s) and it would have been so interesting to see if Brad K could have pulled off that Hail Mary strategy for the win. As a Kyle Busch hater I blame Busch for this nonsense lol.
DIdnt see any of the racing action from the last 30 laps between the 5, 6 and 12. What kinda extended highlights doesnt include the most entertaining part of the race?
Leave it to Busch to put the race into overtime, absolutely typical. And if Hemric hadn't gotten pushy after the 1st Overtime restart, that Big One wouldn't have happened, and Blaney would have had a chance at winning.
