No, it's pretty normal here because on high speeds, Nascar cars tend to lift up So it didn't ride on another car, it just flew

As someone who grew up as a kid watching NASCAR in the 90s, a lot of these would be extremely close to realistic back in the day before they overly safety proofed everything like they did with NASCAR today. I could only imagine how crazy some of these crashes could be if you managed to get enough AI drivers for a full race worth of drivers (i.e. 30+ cars going at once)
