I know they have a tough history as brothers, but it always does my heart good to hear Darrell report on his brother. It was indescribably powerful to hear the exploding elation and calm terror mixed in Darrell's voice as he watched Michael win Daytona while also seeing the net in Dale's window stay up. Still, it's just as powerful to hear Darrell saying, "Mom, it's okay."

To this day that Derrick Cope crash has to be one of the strangest crashes I’ve ever witnessed.

Derrike Cope's explosion was insanely loud, I halfway between the top of the esses and the bus stop and it sounded like it was right in front of me.

That Watkins Glen is the very first thing I think of when NASCAR explosions come up.

That moment when the car went *KaBoom* was quite crazy to see
