First video in a while, This is NASCAR SimRacing exclusive for the PC. This game is very difficult to install on a modern OS, but the game is installed on my ASUS Desktop computer. This is on Windows 10 x64. The setup process for this very convoluted and difficult in order for the game to be launched properly on a modern computer. This is only a partial running of the Daytona 500 ( Around 11 or 12 laps out of 20).

Ahh yes.. EA Sports' attempt of dethroning Papyrus with their own Simulation game, It failed miserably. Just look at Nr2003, it still gets the mod support even to this day while this game never lived up very long.

So too does rfactor 1. And BF2 (project reality) get regular mod support. This was a fun game until EA canned online servers, and it didn't have the global mod community that BF2 had, therefore the few leagues went elsewhere.

can you explain at all how you got it working? i have been trying with using the 3dsetup from Nascar Thunder 2004 but still the game wont start, neither from cd or with no-cd, when i click the exe to start, the 3dsetup application just keeps looping -did you have this occur?

I used to race in a league with this game. Then EA shut down GameSpy servers. Did anyone ever make a patch for mutliplayer to list online hosted games? It was a blast and I loved how you could hop in and out of car during practice to tweak sets. We started the race based on lowest lap time during practice. It was fun on super speedways when guys would get in drafting groups to set fast laps. If I recall, the old league was called PBR.
