I would like to see Landon Cassil in some good equipment when he drives the 01 in the nationwide series hes always around the top 10 with very low budget equipment i would love to see what he could do in some great equipment.
Brad Keselowski, a class act. He admitted his mistake, and made it up to his team by winning. Heck of a race. I've met him twice, and he is the best with his fans, and makes sure no one is left out.
If you had told me at the start of the chase that neither Johnson or Junior would be in the cut of 8, but Newman and Kenseth would, I would have chuckled. Teammates Johnson and Junior racing that hard for the lead so early (lap 23 or so) in a restrictor plate race really shows just how much the new chase elimination format changes things. I love it.
Honestly one of the best if not the best race I have ever watched in my life of 18 years. My driver, Brad, pulled off a true clutch win to move on to the next round. Hope this year he can take it all the way. Go #2!!!!!!!!!!!
Proud of Brad. I knew there was only a slim chance of him going through to the next round, but he did it. His team work with Joey Logano was amazing. Logano is an amazing teammate, did very well pushing Brad up, and blocking other cars. As much as it kills me to say it, Danica Patrick did quite a good job. While Brad was fighting his hardest to pass JImmy, Danica did it with her eyes closed, and held the lead for quite some time. Good last lap racing by Ryan Newman as well. Kept me on my toes, but im happy Brad inched in at the last second.
It's my first time watching a NASCAR race. Well, my first time watching any race, but oh Jesus, the sound of the cars running.... It gives me goosebumps. I'm in love.
Holy crap that was exhilarating, nerve-wracking, & FUN! As a #2 fan I was on my feet a lot & off of them at the finish. Special thx to #22 for not only the push to the front, but also the wicked block on the #4. You rock Nascar for airing these races here!
Why do annoying f1 fans go on NASCAR videos just to go in the comment section and piss people off. Like really, your butthurt that your "glamorous" f1 is loosing fans to NASCAR because it's super boring. I've heard f1 fans say that they need more excitement like NASCAR.
How about Danica charging to the lead like a boss with 24 to go and holding it for almost 10 laps? Perhaps that could translate into a 'coming of age' moment for her. I'm not exactly a fan of hers, but I'd like to see her do better.
Part of me thinks Danica isn't trying hard. She is a brilliant driver don't get me wrong, sometimes I do think she can give more. But maybe i'm wrong, i am fan of hers because she is good at stragetic moves but sometimes she needs to just go for it.
I agree that she's not brilliant by any means. I'm just sick of people calling for her to quit just because she hasn't won yet. Many drivers have had long careers in NASCAR going a long time before their first win, if ever getting one at all. Rick Mast, Dick Trickle, Joe Nemecheck, JD McDuffie, Harry Gant, just to name a few. You never heard calls for any of them to quit aside from 'heat of the moment' interview comment by an angry front runner that got caught up in a crash with lapped cars. Gant was a very popular driver long before he finally visited victory lane, and when he did score his first win, nearly every other team on pit road came out to congratulate him.
I’m a young fan (23 years old) and man was I born in the wrong era. Makes me regret not getting into racing back when my Dad would watch it every weekend when I was younger. I just had no clue how the sport worked and just thought the cars went into a circle. Now I can’t get enough of the sport.
I was there it was my 1st, bama nascar race too attends! Saw a conveint store brad K,car😍💝! it was rookie year for ERIK JONES WE HAD BIG&RICH THERE FOR OUR PRE-RACES CONCERT. I sure can remember the wild excitement of the fans trams where u hear lots of cheers! I sure had been looking forward too this exciting races!
Anthony Hahn Jonathan Goke Talladega is a track where anything can happen. You cannot really predict whether someone will win or not until it is last lap, coming through the front stretch.
It was quite the race. They were not kidding about the roar Danica got when she took the lead everyone in the grandstands, myself included, were on our feet rooting for her.
Best part is at 3:10:22 the finish was really ruined by that caution. It takes 3 or 4 laps for the pack to really get formed up. GWC's never allow enough time to let the pack get formed up and race.
What an incredible race, nail biter and there are four more races :0 I agree though, I wish with the reset in points for each round, that their is bonus points awarded for the three previous winners, for each round even the final race, as a non chaser could win the race (not likely though)
Ya, I still think the points should be involved, just because say a non chaser wins, i liked prior how a second place driver in the chase had to do a little better than the leader in points... but we shall see how this plays out...
This Chase is working very well! All races this year have been so exciting, intense, and had my eyes glued to the TV screen. All thanks to this new format putting pressure on drivers. Not a big fan about the points reset every round. Maybe separate the drivers by two points or the winner of the last round gets a five point bonus for the next round. I've been a fan for ten years and I like it. Good job NASCAR.
Just saying this because i'm a little bored. I'm looking at the race, seeing the uploaders numbers on the bottom the whole time. I mean offcourse some will maybe immidiatly put the video on fullscreen. Still....21500 people clicked this video, i'm guessing because they want to see the Talladega full race. The race is 4 hours long. So of the 21500 people that watched this race for 4 hours long, only 280 people thought about ticking the "like" button, to thank the uploader or to share it with other people. I can guess where the thumb downs came from, because in some regions like mine, there are (yellow bar) commercials every 15 minutes or so. Still i believe that sharing a whole race, uploading it this soon and the quality of this video should outway that little negative. And make it an easy THUMBS UP!
this race will go down in history as one of most important races in the Chase. I believe it will come down to Brad and Joey at Homestead, FL. Thanks for posting this race, one of the best plate races I've seen in a long time, since Elliott in 1991 Pepsi 400 at Daytona, that is a must watch.
I have some small questions, I am rather new to NASCAR: How far may repairs at the pit box go? Like if, let's say, I big crash happened and a car needs considerable repairs, is it allowed to replace some items or something? Is there any time limit for staying at the pit?
***** It helped, thank you! May a car come back from "behind the wall"? What are the circumstances that lead to a car being finally disqualified due to a crash? I guess, if it can't drive back to the pit box after a crash, it is out. But might it drive around with a wrecked body or broken windows or something?
***** As far as I know, they have one chance these days to fix the car so that it meets minimum speed, whereas they used to have at least 2 chances. Also, the car has to have a roof, doors, and a spoiler. If a car can't be driven back to the pits, it gets towed but it is not necessarily out. In that case, the team would evaluate the car when it gets back to the garage and see if they can fix it before the race is over.
SUSAN BRADFORD IS BACK FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE DALE EARNHARDT SENIOR CRASH...WHERE DALE LOST HIS LIFE....DALES CAR CLIPPED SUSANS NUMBER 36 GREEN HEINEKEN STOCK CAR
This chase is just awful. This years fiasco of not properly penalizing Brat is just as pathetic as last years fiasco setting the chase grid. Hey NASCAR, what do all the empty seats tell you? I am also letting the sponsors know that I question they're continuous support for a format that fans do not like and questionable rulings that are contradictory to long time stance that NASCAR has had. Pretty soon NASCAR will be as pathetic as F1.
Just for you guys from US , the footage after the finsh with the start is from NASCAR Highlights that is that the name says shows the brodocast the races
Yeah because driving 3 and 4 wide at 200mph with a wind turbulence (strong enough to lift your dumbass off the ground) constantly pushing your car all over place takes no skill. Okay guy 👌
