I enjoyed watching this race live with my homies. It was a bit bland during the middle of the race, but the start and end were both great! First race watched in person and was not disappointed! Turn 9 was great!
I went to the Sonoma race in '09 and I'm thinking about going back again. How is the view from turn 9? I sat in the grandstands by the start/finish and the view was pretty good but I want to try a different spot next time.
Turn 9 was pretty good. The website explains what you'll pretty much expect from each of the sections. I think they said turn 9 was best for seeing quite a bit of the track. Not sure. But I enjoyed sitting there.
I’ve been a fan of Stewart since 2002, and the 2 winless seasons were extremely and painful to watch until this race in Sonoma when I was happy of joy to a point that I cried not just because this was his final season and his final win, but this was all of the pain and frustration that went away. Still one of my favorite Stewart wins ever.
I was there. you should have heard it when Hamlin passed Stewart in turn 7. you could feel it sweep across the track. awwww. then when Stewart bumped Hamlin into the wall everyone just exploded! you could feel the emotion. even me, and I'm not really a stewart fan. I actually found a stewart beer can, soda can holder on an empty can of beer when Carl won his Sonoma and I've had that during the last 2 races there. the race was amazing at the end.
I like the mix between road course and speedways on the calendar, i wish we had some ovals in F1, specially one like Talladega or Daytona, but still, the best races always tend to be the ones where drivers turn both left and right you know.
idk about ovals in f1 man, especially a 2.5 miler, someone would get hurt. I think maybe phoenix would be good, or gateway, they've both put on good indycar shows in the past and the cars at least aren't going fast enough to go fly into the catch fence.
***** I my opinion this finish between Stewart and Hamlin was epic. Charlotte's finish was boring but it didn't suck as bad as Daytona's Night Race finish.
I went to that race. I love nascar :) it was a good race. I was right where the pit stops where and they were so fast I only saw the cars go by for a second! Loved the race:)
This was one of the best race i've seen in like almost 10 year!! I used to watch ALMS 2000 to 2005, WRC rally in same years, but now that is fucking good!!! I like Sonoma and Watkins glen and Montreal was awesome too, i love these cars when they just dont turn in circle lol (oval)
One Winged Ice Angel you should have heard the crowd. you could feel it like a wave through the whole place. from when Hamlin passed Stewart to when smoke ran hamlin into the tires.
Dont you worry. The next gen cars are designed for road courses! There will be plenty more. Nascar wants to attract world viewers. The new next gen cars are replicas of the Australian super cars. They will dominate road courses! It will be fun to watch. I have always wanted more road racing for nascar. They could even open up another whole series dedicated to road courses.
after watching so many years of Bathurst V8 racing, it's hard to sit and watch these guys not powering out of those corners and not attacking those soft corners.
Just noticed that the sister that sings the anthem never got a close up..or any air time...just for 4 seconds loooong distance shot. That's right it's nascar.
@@alexrex20 I doubt a cup car would at Sonoma. V8 cars handle much better than a cup car does. A cup car for sure would at the Glen, where there are more opportunities for the extra horsepower to shine. Cup cars at Sonoma is like a ballet. They have to be so easy on the throttle, because of the amount of power and lack of grip they have. It'd still be fun to watch though!
Love Nascar for its oval racing but when they're lugging their cars around on road circuits like Sonoma and Watkins Glen it doesn't get better than that!!!
true there i sure hope they add the trucks maybe they will doing the chase part of the season i know a cuopule years ago thats what started this race upload stuff was the chase races
Also why is nascar sad when Denny Hamlin passed him well I know it's his final year but I didn't get to the point their happy that Hamlin gets body slammed straight into the wall that's crewl but I'm a fan of NASCAR and I'll always be my dream is to be a NASCAR driver
Love how Michael Waltrip kept throwing shade at Jeff Gordon - "remember how Carl Edwards beat you here in 2014? Remember how you tried and tried but couldn't catch him?" LOL
gran buzzi lista por un contigo hoy pero estaba buscando una ti estás yo quiero hacer la casa loco yo me tengo que sea tú no hacer yo no hablo hermano tú o no
That race was so rigged.... Hamlin's last corner was like a 100m runner stopping 1m before the tape... there should be an enquiry . Some bookies somewhere made a lot of money. The Tony Stewart love in by the commentators was sickening.
Awww, Falcon's all weepy and butt-hurt cuz' things didn't go his way, and if things don't go his way, then they must be rigged! This kind of spurious and sophomoric reasoning would be amusing if it wasn't so typical. You should run for president. Perhaps the silver lining is that if you do indeed believe Nascar to be rigged, it then follows (if one applies logic, somehow I'm not holding my breath) that you'll stop watching it, allowing the rest of us to enjoy a good race sans your neonatal diatribe.
Hook line and sinker... LoL... I'm like Obama, can't be Pres cos I'm not a American. I like Nascar, and that race was awesome until that last lap... I don't really care who wins since Gordon retired, but that was so suss. If that was a horse race there would be an enquiry. By the way, your attempt at hurting me with words is wasted. Maybe when you read something you don't agree with you should not get all hurt and angry so easy. Peace to you.
rigged? if Denny slowed up to let Tony by, that was his decision. it's not against the rules for a driver to take it upon himself to give back a position that he may feel he didn't fairly take (wheel hop into 7). anyway, they're good friends so good luck trying to get either side to confess anything.
i was at this race, if you think it's rigged, you must be the idiot of all idiots. i guess if things don't go your way, they must be rigged. waa waa waaa. go watch some other sport
