It was in my opinion, the best Nascar (Console Game) game of all time. Just think what they could do 12 years later if they remade the game, there's so many things that they could screw up with it.
@TheTornado1999 Yes i agree completely. The airborne crash physics are the most unique out of any racing game i ever played. Almost all other video games especially the EA sports racing games you have to almost crash on purpose to go airborne or get involved in a pretty helish crash to go airborne but in this game u could just spin out w/o hitting anyone and go airborne which is very realistic.
Spotter:Clear. Car high. You:(Turns car around) Spotter:All clear. You:Ok, MAKE UP YOUR MIND ALREADY!!! (Car climbs up track and hits you) You: **** you spotter. Spotter: There's a spin in turn four! LOLROFLMAOQUERTYIMAO
@iammach6 nah i like Rusty Wallace one of my favorite drivers. Met him once and of all the people that i got an autograph from he was the nicest. Most other drivers seemed annoyed when you asked but Rusty liked it.
@@Gforcebond I agree Heat 5 got some awesome racing but the physics is absolutely awful, being why i’d still enjoy some Nascar thunder rather than anything in the past 15 years
@@f-twelve7155 Yeah, the Physics takes some time to get use to. Even when you make the slightest contact with an AI car they almost spin out or spin out so takes some practice. It's one of those games where you for sure have to play with the settings on the race car. It's definitely a momentum thing. Like if back out of the throttle it can kill your lap speed for 2-3 laps, because most race tracks are almost full throttle. I liked Thunder because I liked how the engines sound ect and crash physics.
the only thing i dont like about dirt to daytona is that they dont have a roof cam as like in the nascar thunder games but other then that i like it i hope activision can make the damage in the next nascar game like this one because its almost like the real thing and make the cars eieser to spin out just like in dirt to daytone that would be awesome
I like NASCAR Dirt to Daytona because you can get airborne, one time I was passing Rusty Wallace for 8th place and then I hit him and went to the grass and went airbrone and flipped 7 times LOL
