My cousin and I went to Nashville last June in celebration of her 60th birthday and we had a blast. There is so much to do there the attractions we saw were different but still a lot of fun. Planning ahead is the best way to get the most out of your trip. We took a vintage car tour of the city fabulous. You’re right going with your crew that get your outfits changed is the best!
This was a very enjoyable video, Laurie! It was somewhat different from your usual blogs. I like the way you showed highlights of the trip and gave travel tips at the same time. You made Nashville look like a fun place to visit. I live in Chattanooga, TN which is just a 2-hour drive from Nashville. I also went to college at TSU in Nashville, but that was a long time ago. 😊Thanks for sharing!
I loved this video. I would love more "things to see videos" on your fun adventures! Where did you stay? That's always a challenge when traveling to a new place!
Hi, I loved making it but my audience does not watch these so it does not get shown to as many people yet. We stayed at an airbnb that was somewhat walkable, but there were pockets not safe so we uber'd everywhere $$$!
Thanks Laurie, I've been hoping to see you make travel videos like this! Advice about things to do, where to stay, at places you've been all over the world
Just got back from a Thurs-Monday trip to Nashville - during the day and early evening it was HOT 🥵 glad I packed shorts! Hospitality was amazing everywhere we went.
Lots of your advice works for other big cities too. I love crossbody purses! Unfortunately I need to carry enough stuff that I need a larger crossbody. I hope you do some videos for other cities too.
1st thing to do is go to Sam's clothing and shoes and get a Cowboy hat at the lowest prices in Downtown Nashville at 227 Rep John Lewis N, (that's 5th Ave)
I've lived in Nashville 30 years. It's so fun to see all the changes the city has made. So many people moving here and visiting! As a local, I stay away from Broadway! 🤣
Hey superlil35 trying to figure out why you would stay away from Broadway down town if you have lived here for 30 years, how could you speak of nashville so highly and tell everyone to stay away from Broadway,it isn't like everyone has covid or something ,lve lived here all my life and loved all of nashville, tell your friends look us up here on music 🎶 row from capital records Danny Malliard
This is a must-watch video. if you're planning a trip to Nashville with your girl friends. It's packed with awesome tips and ideas for things to do that will make your bachelorette weekend unforgettable. Whether you're a music lover or a foodie, you'll find plenty of great options here. It’s time to plan the ultimate Nashville getaway!
HI LAURIE... QUESTION.... I am from Toronto area in Canada. I am flying with a discounted airline "Swoop". Strict rules for luggage. We are doing 1 check luggage and 1 personal item each. We are heavy packers trying 5o reduce making me nervous 😂. We are going to the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick. It is picturesque! So I need my large camera. How do I pack that? In my personal bag? Please lmk what you think or wink if you read this. Waiting for an answer... I appreciate your videos.😂❤
Ordered the sunglasses case. It came last week, and I can fit both my spare glasses as well as 2 pairs of clip-ons (sunglasses and night drivers) in it! - perfect for camp in July where I'll need 2 pairs of glasses (my regular everyday glasses are tinted to filter out the flickering of fluorescent lights, but they're too dark for outside at night, so I'll wear my clear-lens spares then) and both pairs of clip-ons (sunglasses during the day because my tinted glasses aren't dark enough to be sunglasses, and night drivers for at night because there will still be some bright lights to contend with).
Laurie I didn’t know where else to write this but I just want to let you know how much I appreciated all the advice you gave me for traveling with my toddler. All of it worked. The backpack you recommended is the best! ❤
It looks like you totally had an awesome time. Nashville is not what it used to be, it's so commercial now and crowded. Tip for your next trip there, check out the packages for the Opryland, Hotel especially at Christmas time. And your friend is my wanting to go to The Country Hall of Fame and Museum. That's what Nashville is about Country Music.
My sisters and I went to Nashville for a quick three day getaway from Canada. So fun. These are great ideas! We stayed at Southall, a new special resort in Franklin just outside of Nashville. Great spa, restaurants, and acres of gorgeous rolling Tennessee hills.
My girlfriends and I have been traveling together for 20 years. We went to Nashville 5 years ago and had a great time! One thing we always enjoy is taking a food tour. It’s a great way to check out some of the local cuisine. We loved Nashville. But couldn’t get into the Blue Bird Cafe. Maybe next time. Great video! Would love to see more of this type…things to do…especially for girlfriend trips. We’re always looking for our next destination. Thanks Laurie!
I hope to make those in the future, but as you can see by the low numbers, my audience does not gravitate to this type which means it will not be shown to many people. But I really thing the tips were so helpful for visiting Nashville and wanted to make it.
Hi Laurie, I new to your channel, and have learned so much from your videos. I searched your videos for luggage sets, and I couldn’t find any. We will be traveling internationally next month and will have to check some luggage. Can you recommend any?
Hi Laurie- Have you made any videos about cameras? My husband and I are traveling soon and I would like another option besides our iPhones. I love your videos and your information and tips! I feel like you are my travel best friend lol 😆. ❤
I was in Nashville in July, we had a wonderful time, took my granddaughters to the Grand Ole Opry, Country Music Hall of Fame, we stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. I love Jason Aldeans!
Thanks for taking us to NashVegas ! I'm tired just watching 🤠 all your great ideas ! We were there last Halloween and did the "daytime senior tour". My last girls trip to NashVegas was in 2011 at age 50ish 😉🤐
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie Yes, my daughter used to live there and I would go frequently. We always had a good time. I hardly ever go now. My daughter now lives in your neck of the woods, Katy, TX, and now I go there.
