Postpartum hair loss was so so bad for me, it hit around 3 months and continued for around 3 months 😭 I’m now 7 months postpartum and am just now starting to see the hair grow back and I have wild baby hairs now. Unfortunately there’s not much you can do to aid in the loss, there are serums and treatments but really they don’t solve the issues. You have to let your body do its thing and know it’s temporary ❤❤ Sending hugs!
I had post-pill hair loss (which I hear is similar to post partum). I didn't realize what was happening until a lot of my hair had already fell out. I went to get a blood panel (for other symptoms as well) and found out my vitamin D was very low. So I started taking D3+K2 (the K2 helps you absorb the vitamin D better) and using rosemary/hair strengthening shampoo. It's been almost 9 months since then and I have about 3/4 inches of hair regrowth all over my head! I wish you luck with your hair. ❤
Hi Rachel!! LOVE the Sculpt Society crew and olive fit!! Olives and beiges, creams and bowns are my fave colors. Maverick is getting so big and cute as ever!!! Love ya! ❤
I didn’t have any postpartum hair loss but super awkward baby hairs grew to a dodgy fringe at the front!! You can’t escape some sort of hair change but try and embrace ❤
Sorry to inform you but if you are going to loose hair due to labor there is nothing you can really do about it. Some woman don’t so hopefully you will get lucky. Also if your labor wasn’t really intense and put a lot of stress on your body because you took meds it can help. No supplement, serum or anything will help. Whatever hair follicles that were affected and went into Telogen Effluvium did it way back at labor. They just dont fall out until approx 2-3 mos later (depending on how fast your hair grows) because that’s how long it takes for the new hair to start growing and grow long enough to where it’s pushing through your scalp and actually pushes the dead one out. The hair follicles that got affected are already dead and there’s no changing that. They will just come out when the new hair pushes it out. Hair loss due to labor is a very temporary thing and it always grows back. All these companies that will show pictures of a woman postpartum showing her thinning and then showing pictures of all the new hairs growing saying their product did it is such BS. All that new hair growth would have grown exactly the same with absolutely no oral supplements or topical product. I have autoimmune issues and it causes Telogen Effluvium all the time. I literally go through Telogen Effluvium 1-2 times every single year. It’s extremely rough because I will have an autoimmune flair which causes the stress on my body and triggers Telogen Effluvium. 2-3 months later I shed…it always grows back and as soon as I’m starting to feel confident again then BAM something happens and I get a flair again and the cycle repeats😢 I’ve been going through this for approx 10 yrs now so I know exactly how Telogen Effluvium works, you’ll get through just like all the other mama’s.
A lot of woman lose some of their hair PP. I did at around 3 months PP. It did grow back naturally after I got tested for my thyroid, and to see what I was lacking in. I had a hard intense natural labor and my body went through it.
I’m 8 months post labor and I haven’t lost my hair. I now have gray hairs here and there that I pluck when needed . So being blonde helps hiding them lol
They also go through a big growth spurt at 3 months. My son literally skipped 3-6 months clothes and went to 6-9 and he’ll be 5 months on the 12th 😅 I swear he fit the 3-6 months for a week and suddenly they were too tight
Hi beautiful, love your blonde hair! Quick question… 🌟where is the striped throw you have over the chair behind you where you filmed your Sculpt Society & Free People haul? 😍 So sweet to see you mom with sweet Maverick!🩵🧸
