I think I speak for everyone when I say we prefer this kind of content.. where Chris crawls around and poses for us 😆 Thank you for the help! Your study guide is pretty spot on. Re-taking my test in a few days 🤞☺️🤞
How did you do? Love to help you become a Level 1 coach so you can say you're a qualified trainer. Everyone is a certified trainer today, that doesn't mean much. Send me a DM on IG show up fitness to sit in on a class. I'll crawl around on Thursday while I'm drinking green beer!
My test was hard! Def know the over/underactive muscles.. I had weirdly a lot of questions from chapter 22-23 special populations.. lots on stretching! The types and actual specific stretches themselves! Lots on Stabilization! I got the study guide n but didnt feel very prepared for that specific material. But passed prolly by a hair! Thankfully i was already hired and have been working as a group trainer at a boutique gym because they knew I knew enough about exercise science... but wanted the "piece of paper" to "be legit" but its nice to know that if I want to do one on one I can.. however u dont have a location in orange county!
thank you so much! I watched a lot of yours and Meg's videos and bought your study guide and I passed. Just got a job at F45 super excited to start my journey :)
That's ok. Now use the guide to pass in 3-4 weeks TOPS. I'm sure as you've found, reading the textbook is confusing as hell and doesn't prepare you for much.
He's right about the text book. I read the whole thing, taking my test tomorrow, and the damned book didn't really help at all. I actually learned and understood NASM from Show Up Fitness RU-vid videos as well as PTPioneer, and from watching videos of other people who have already taken the test to show how they did it and what was on the test. OPT model also won't help at all for the clients I want to work with (disabled people). Unfortunately, I got the dang bundle and didn't know it was going to be useless until after I was past the refund date, so don't do what I did.
I just need to pass the test ASAP before I go to basic training and can no longer take it when I’m back. What do I need to pass in a month? After that I’ll have time on my hands to dive deep into what I actually need to know. Hope you can help me…more lol 🙏🏽
Thank you so much for this video! I don’t have much time to study, so it really helps to know about specific pages that I should focus on. Other than page 811, are there any other pages from the 7th edition that I should memorize or know really well? Any suggestions on what I should focus on would help me a lot because I don’t have much time until the exam. Thank you 🙏🏻 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I just failed my exam 😞 thinking about purchasing your guide but I’m afraid it doesn’t cover what was on the exam. The practice exam and real exam are very different. I was not ready for what they gave me on the exam. Starting to feel like it’s a scam.💔
I love nasm. They're helped us teach people what to do to become successful and what not to do. Those that get certified and follow this model, are destined to statistically fail. They're a great marketing company and I love learning from them. I wouldn't learn from them when It comes to fitness. Learn from fitness companies for that, like Show Up who actually owns gyms
