USF QB Quinton Flowers is one of the most exciting players in college football regardless of position. While many people may not expect him to play at the next level, I believe he's talented enough to make plays if given the chance at QB or another position. I see more Vick in Quinton Flowers than I do in Lamar Jackson. His stature, the throwing motion, the jump cuts & jukes, the big play ability. As far as the eye test, he’s the right handed Vick He just doesn’t have that once in a generation throwing power and 4.2 speed Vick had.
He’s playing qb in the xfl now I agree it’s a waste of talent that people like this never get a shot at qb in the nfl because they don’t fit the prototypical qb mold
Fr bro, idk why he was valued so low. Just look at his college stats and highlights. Better then half the quarterbacks you see today. Should’ve been on Kylers level. Hopefully dumbass Marc Trestman uses him in the XFL so he can showcase his true talents
I miss watching him play every Saturday. Watching him in person was even more mind blowing. If Matt Grothe had Quinton’s Ability they would of stayed at the next level. The Matt Grothe era was electric. Massive wins, and the stadium was filled. The West Virginia and USF rivalry was my favorite. If only USF stayed in a BCS/Power conference. The big east was stacked back then. I hope the American brings back the glory. They have shown that they can keep up, and beat the power 5 teams. We need power 6
He’s a legend. One of the best college QBs. Probably the best ever outside of the power 5 (along with handful of other guys) I hope he can play pro somewhere. I think we are going to see him ball out in the CFL next years. His style is perfect for it. Also Montreal has his rights, or they did.
He's not underrated at all.. He's 5'10" and had a 53% completion this season. The only people who think he's underrated are the people who have never seen him play and have only seen his highlights. He is not an NFL caliber QB
What an athlete. If he masters that passing game and stays healthy this is the next Vick but better. And Vick is my boy. this kid will definitely make it
Honestly, I love this guy. His heart and determination will be what takes him to the NFL. Seriously, after having read everything he went through, and still succeeding the way he has...it's nuts. But to be even more frank (I'd have to change my name), his accuracy is not great. Doesn't have as much zip or velocity on the ball as I would like. But elusive as hell. Dude could make it as a runningback if he's willing to buy into the position change. He could even play the slot, similar to how Braxton Miller was used. At the end of the day, this dude has the skills to make it in the NFL, he just has to buy into whatever position coaches want him to play.
Extremely athletic and great agility. I’d like to see run routes but I think he can play at the next level. He has versatility which when used right can be a big asset.
Quinton Flowers was the most exciting quarterbacks to watch. He had the tools to play the quarterback position; too bad he wasn’t talented enough on the pro level. What had happened to him now?
Truly Horrendous Quinton Flowers talents are similar to Denard Robinson and Kordell "SLASH" Stewart when he played a different position in a few drives of the game🎮.
The Steelers had Kordel Stewart - he was a QB/WR/RB - and he was pretty dam good, Bill Cower nick named him"Slash" as in QB slash WR slash RB - then he became starting QB and the Steelers wanted him to be more pocket passer and less Slash and it ruined him
Standard Only Also Anquan Randle el. He played college qb. It was too short, so he became a WR. He was a solid second wr for Pittsburgh for a long time.
the nfl teams always misses several QBs. Quinton could be right now being a guarantee substitute in any team, I hope that with the explosion of Lamar Quinton will have a chance to come back and play
Quick random reminder that Quinton Flowers is one of the unappreciated and underrated QBs in college football history. In 2017, UCF went undefeated and played USF to end the season. USF was 9-1 and somehow UNRANKED in that epic last game 59-52 thriller loss. Made no sense. I was there. Quinton Flowers vs McKenzie Milton with NFL players on both teams.
Quinton Flowers reminds me of a Quarterback in which he played with The Michigan Wolverines but was transmuted to Running Back in the NFL being Drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in: Denard Robinson, Kordell "SLASH" Stewart and Antwan Randle El whom played QB, RB, & WR.
Russell Westbrook I RESPECT THAT I FORGIVE YOU for that and excuse me if I am being too RELIGIOUS but enough is enough My name is: Ian Audies Dickson and I am 27 years old Born at a Hospital in Secaucus, NJ called Meadowlands Hospital Center on Friday November 11, 1990 (Veteran's Day). At Age 5, when I was taken to the Hospital, I was diagnosed with DYPHASIA which is a Language Disorder one of the symptoms is that people with Dysphasia suffer because it causes RAGES and OUTBURSTS, Another thing is a Short term memory of a movie🎥 and whatnot. If you are curious go to: www.ayushveda.com/healthcare/dysphasia.htm and in 2016, I was also diagnosed with ADHD as well. I attended a school in East Orange, NJ located on 215 Dodd Street named after Whitney Houston called: Whitney E. (Elizabeth) Houston Academy Elementary School and I had a teacher name Ms.Heck, A child in there called me STUPID and Ms.Heck didn't do anything so My Mother had to come in and see what is WRONG. BULLYING is NOT OF GOD ALMIGHTY so I was promoted a Grade when I attended #3 Ernie E. Conwell School on Jersey Avenue in Jersey City, NJ; Anyway, I graduated from there and attended Liberty Academy Charter School located on York Street also in Jersey City, NJ. I was BULLIED, specifically had My Lunch taken away from me, I was called names so on and so forth, when I got into High School attending CREATE Charter High School which was on 164 Lembeck Avenue in which Stephen Lipski was the Principal but due to Low SAT Scores it was shut down and now it is a Infinity Institute. I graduated from CREATE in 2009 and was attending Hudson County Community College but they have me on SUSPENSION I kept on FAILING Basic Algebra. In High School I was teased by a girl name I Jasmir Floyd in which she claimed that me and her met each other in the 3rd Grade. My Mother and Father met in Jersey City but attended Ferris High School but Got Married in Hawaii. 116 Norman Street was the block I was living on with My Mother & Father when I was a baby🚼, My Father spent a lot of money💰 on furniture, My Mother had to file for Bankruptcy, She tried to get My Father to do Marriage Counselling but he declined finally she FILED for DIVORCE and claimed custody over me.
Russell Westbrook I didn't know who GOD was and for all my life I was BULLIED but on Sunday December 5, 2010, I gave My Life to JESUS and had my head dunked in holy water in other words, I got BAPTIZED in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost👻 (The Trinity). I did Yom Kippur with My Mother and it was something that I will NEVER FORGET, My Mother went overseas Back Then and had a encounter with Jews and experienced that.
Mann he’s a QB and nothing else. He has the arm. He has the legs. He obviously have some untapped potential as a passer. There’s no need to switch positions. Put him with a good Vet QB, he’ll develop into a solid QB. Get him a solid OLine we won’t be running for his life as often. Someone can be getting a steal in the draft
Teams not wanting to pursue him as a starter I get. But as a back-up? Nfl defenses would struggle madly to adjust to his game. Most nfl backups are afraid to throw the ball when they come in, so I see it as an absolute win to get a guy who can't be touched in a scramble and reads when to do so very well. It's a shame he never really got the opportunity in the nfl to display this.
Flowers is incredibly athletic, but his accuracy is not good enough to be an NFL starting QB. If he could make the change to RB, then he could be a real threat.
Clark Dawson Remember #DenardRobinsonFormer MichiganWolverinesQuarterback Transmuted to Running Back when The Jacksonville Jaguars took a Risk on him, although Robinson didn't pan out he faired well for the time being.
ID TAKE HIM IN 5TH ROUND. ..USE HIM AS MY WEAPON. ..TRICK PLAYS...BACK UP RUNNING BACK...SLOT RECIEVER..BACK UP QB...MAYBE PUNT RETURNS...PLAYERS LIKE THIS HAVE TO BE ACCOUNTED FOR...YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TO MANY WEAPONS...HOPE MY COWBOYS GET HIM...HE'S A STEAL ..WITH 1ST ROUND TALENT..IF HE WAS A CAUCASIAN QUARTER BACK. ( JOHNNY MANZEL TYPE)HE WOULD HAVE BEEN WAY BIGGER........HE IS VERSATILE AND HAS GOOD ARM. .
Denard Robinson played Quarterback at Michigan but The Jacksonville Jaguars probably felt that #BlakeBortlesFormerCentralFloridaGoldenKnightsQuarterback is the Quarterback of the Future, That is why they recommended that Robinson play Running Back.
