For everyone who thinks that the crowd was booing nasty ray, no they were booing because mojo didn't show any respect as nasty ray offered to shake hands after the battle
Guys, it's not because Mijo lost, it was because he was being a sore loser and not showing respect by leaving Ray hanging. The camera didn't show in time that Mijo left without shaking hands but you can still see Ray's hand held out @2:44. And judging by his expression, you'd agree with me.
it didnt show, but mijo began walking towards ray for the handshake, then the boos started bc he most likey just left him hanging. you can tell be rays expression he was shocked, and his hand was still out. its ok if youre heated and all in the battle, but make sure once its all done, you show respect.
@BboyGomez14 exactly. I was replying to someone who stated Nasty Ray only won due to legacy and seniority because that person thought Ray has been bboying longer. So I was sayin that no, Mijo has been the renowned one longer than Ray, and that even with that Ray still winning clearly shows Ray won due to talent and skill, not legacy.

another reason why people shouldnt judge things based on what is captured only by the camera. everyones saying nasty ray was getting booed because the camera didnt capture mijo ignoring nasty rays handshake request. not calling anyone an idiot or whatnot, jsut saying if you werent there dont speculate things. thats why i didnt until i understood it myself
@seymourglass26 im sure it wasn't 'meant' to sound like that. The person who left that comment was saying "yes, Mijo's combos were more intricate, and his flow was a little stronger, but Nasty Ray's beat riding outshone that." Yea, the comment as a whole came off as obnoxious, but i doubt it was intentional. one love.
@BboyBao1 that doesn't make sense, it sounds like you're saying one of them doesn't have musicality and the other does and the other has technique and the other doesn't depending on if the music is on or off..
Dope stuff from both bboys. nasty ray should've given the crowd the Bebe treatment when they boo'ed him, just call em out (refer to Ground Zero Crew's battles in the UK bboy champs)
@manilamerc At the beginning they show the names of both bboys, and which bboy is on which side. But, for shame for not knowing Ray or Mijo. They're both monsters.

Just in case anyone counts Mijo's lotus mills as a bite, back in Out For Fame 2002 I saw Mijo do lotus mills probably before anyone was ever doing them. So he gets props here in my opinion for being the first to actually do a move.
Obviously Nasty Ray took it. He was way cleaner and had 100 times better musicality. And I agree with bumblehead321 I think they were booing Mijo for walking away but who knows.
people complaining about bboys nowadays dont dance to the music anymore. then there's a bboy who dances extraordinary to the music and they boo him out!

@BboyGomez14 Look bro, I said someone commented saying Ray won because he has more experience than Mijo. So I replied telling the guy that no, Mijo has more experience than Ray and has been breaking way longer, so that goes to show Ray won due to pure talent, not a lengthy legacy career. I was defending Ray and his skill, but you came at me thinking I was defending Mijo.
@Saru86p THEY BOOED because mijo didn't shak rays hand. The bboy community is pretty nice so its only in rare ocasions that youll here a crowd boo a winner.
