"L-O-V-E" was recorded by American singer and jazz pianist Nat King Cole for his 1965 "L-O-V-E" which was the last album released before his death. The song had previously appeared in 1964 as an instrumental track on Kaempfert's album "Blue Midnight". Nat King Cole also recorded the song in four other languages - French, German, Italian and Japanese.
Other famous versions are recorded by Nat King Cole's daugther Natalie Cole, Michael Bublé, Deana Martin and Diana Krall.
