"Natadera temple" Ishikawa Prefecture autumn leaves in Japan
Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture
In 717, about 1300 years ago,
"Natadera" was built on this land where many huge and mysterious rocks remain.
After passing through the main gate, the approach to the shrine, surrounded
by cedar trees that are hundreds of years old, stretches straight out.
The stone lanterns on the left and right were donated during the Edo period.
In addition, the cedar trees are part of the Miyuki Kaido Sugi,
which stretches about 10 km from Komatsu to Natadera, and was
planted by Toshitsune Maeda, the third lord of the Kaga Domain during the Kanei era.
"Kigan-Yusenkyo"
It is said to have been the remains of an undersea eruption in the past,
and over a long period of time, it was washed by the wind and waves to
form the strangely shaped rocks of today.
In 2014, it was newly designated as a scenic spot in Japan as
"Oku no Hosomichi Scenic Area".
Ryubien, a garden in the back of the drawing rooms
A stream flows through the garden, and skunk cabbage, rhododendrons, hydrangeas, and azaleas show off their beautiful colors.
The lush moss and the beautiful autumn leaves of the maple trees are truly a sight that can be called the autumn leaves of Japan.
Thanks for watching!
Everyone who visited Japan! Please feel free to leave a comment!
