I recently caught a Crescent-tailed Wrasse (Thalassoma lunare) using a synthetic bait (Fishbites®) in Durban! It feels so awesome to catch a new species on an outing
I think this fishing channel is great and the spots you choose are great. 2 things to keep in mind is to focus the camera on the rod tip when you getting bites, this create a little thrill for your views and make sure you show every bait setup. Great show...keep it up

Hi Steve, yes that’s correct, however we measure to the Fork when fishing for Shad and Bronze Bream. They just seem too small to the measure to total length.Derick is good, just been busy with other stuff.🤙shot

Awesome video as usual. Just curious, the eyes on your rod Kent were not aligned. Infact it was very skew. Is it skew for a specific reason or was it just that you didn't align all the pieces on the bluefish rod due to excitement of just getting in to fish...lol...

Hi, they are usually caught with in casting distance. 20m or so. Also depending on where you’re fishing and when. E.g when the Shad are are on the bite , you could catch Garrick in the surf. If you’re fishing with artificial lures, we tend to cast further but at the end of the day the hook up is usually quite close. When you slide out a live bait, we tend to cast far as well. 30-40m but it really all depends on where you fish. From my experience most fish are caught 20,30,40m
