A very young Hungarian virtuoso was just warming up with this in the living room of my apartment in Vienna, while I was getting ready to go to work, a long time ago. I rarely had such an impression of luxury ! Natalie, it is EXCELLENT that you do not play this too fast. Many pianists want to impress with their virtuosity. Which is required anyway even the way you play it. But at least your version is breathing ! Until now the optimum tempos I had heard was in a version by Thomas Yu, but yours is very nice also. BRAVO !!
Dear Madame Kartashova, you are an amazing pianist with a wonderful touch and a great sense of melody and expression. Technically and emotionally you convince your audience with your wonderful performance. Thank you 1000 times for sharing your talent. 🌷🌷🌷
Wonderful! Great, great piano playing! Beautiful version, with much expressiveness, of this famous paraphrase by Franz Liszt on non less famous air from Verdi's Rigoletto.
Natalia you are a great artist. I loved the tempo you chose. You brought forth the best qualities in the music with clarity grandeur and lyricism. Your technique is impeccable and your aristocratic sensibility reminds me of the late Artur Rubinstein. Bravo!
Great playing - you are very musical and clearly have a brilliant mind for mastering complex pieces of music. My only advice to you is to put yourself in Liszt's shoes when you play. Liszt was the ultimate showman and virtuoso! Feel free to let loose the flair and knock the socks off of your audience when you play this piece. I have no doubt you can 'wow' the audience with your ability :-). Also, Van Cliburn is one of the best Liszt-players out there, and of course Lang Lang has plenty of flair.
Inseguo grazie di fiori e di suoni - come io mi consiglio stamattina - per festa della vita che destina - a noi di terra consolazioni - di bellezza gioiosa e trilli d'oro - di suoni a gloria d'un capolavoro.
Great performance. She chose a slower than average speed but brought out more of the expressiveness. I'd still prefer a more lively tempo though. It was played very beautifully nevertheless. :)
I play this piece too, but your left hand plays a wrong note at 06:04 and the same mistake you play in 06:12 again. But the piece you play almost as good as I .
IMHO the right hand would need more power in some octaves passages. Except for that, it was reall ynicely played: reasonable tempo, love to details of expression, and no sign of empty virtuosism.
damn. your the spitting image of the girl i liked at the kennels. But she could not play - neither did she care for me. Oh what toyless desperation is this...
