So yes, she used the X Factor platform to get out of all her contrects... worked very well haha obviously She never wanted to be a nice mainstream pop princess. So she got back to her roots with "Cruel Youth" right after the staged X Factor thing. Actually very intelligent. Because there is NO way out of a contrant with a record label....she hasn't had control over her career as Natalia Kills anymore. Here We Go: This is actually HER as an FREE independent artist.

The main reason they sound so similar is probably because both Natalia and Gaga were signed to the 'Konvict Musik' record label, so I dare say they had the same production team and used the same synthesizers etc.

Natalia really resembles the style of Gaga, yet they are different, both are "dark" style, but each has their way of being "dark", if you compare "Trouble" and "Perfectionist" with "Born This Way ", "The Fame/Monster" and "ARTPOP" you will see a big difference. I wish Gaga and Natalia did a song together, would be great and Natalia would become more famous.

Actually only discovered her last or this year(wasn't so much into pop before, am a metalhead mostly), which is really upsetting since she is amazing. I think she has her own sound even though some think not(mostly gaga fanboys that haven't heard a lot of Natalias songs, same producers etc). I've noticed the quality of British female singers (Adele, Florence, Emeli Sande, Ellie Goulding) is much better than their American counterparts. The Americans get it easy, Katy Perry or Britney could release ANYTHING and it'll be number one around the world. British artists have to fight to get that much attention, but they get their break-throughs. Natalia Kills has talent, she'll make it.
